i fail to use time wisely. its one of my biggest character traits/ flaws. but holy shit does hubby ever beat me in that department. i get him up, coffee made, clothes out, keep him updated on what time it is etc... and he just barely made his bus. i got up just before the alarm went off at 4:30. can get up at any time. if i had a bus to catch at 5:45, i would be ok with getting up at 5, and be ready and out the door, with no rushing. i even made him a bus route itinerary, with maps this morning. i will grant that i dont have to shave my face, sure, but im so frazzled and stressed out i dont know if i can go back to bed now.

bleh. at least i dont have to get the boy off to school today. might wake him up and put him to work, then nap while he plays video games later

 

I have no idea what the dog rolled in. She came in wet and smelling awful. 2 baths to get rid of it and I need to change the sheets on the bed since that is where she immediately goes. :bomb:

 

I know right?.....carcass?....my friends dogs both rolled in a giant dead fish on the beach the other day....2 massive dogs smelling like dead carp

carpet in one the stairways went in perfectly.. another stairway, it wants to be a dick.. might be easier i rip out the slate tile on the top so I can run a bound piece to the edge.. cant really do that without cracking that when its nailed in. I could liquid nail it.... idk.... I should be eating a burger and chilling out.. but oh no..

 

Carpet installation is my family's business. Nobody does it now because of age but my dad had a business for 50 years and put the family to work for years.

 

I was asked to work for this carpet place the other day, maybe after I finish my crap and he still needs help Ill check em out..

stupid stairway narrows towards the bottom...

last time I did the stairs Booboo was bugging me the whole time.. now Ive another dog bugging me the whole time...

once I do this Ill have three brand new rooms ready to be destroyed all over again..

 

It feels that way sometimes, doesn't it? The maintenance and upkeep has to be done anyway unless you want a place to fall to pieces.

 

I sometimes wish I lived in an apartment or some brand new home, so I dont have to be surprised with stuff every time... cant believe I pay taxes to keep this shit sometimes.

 

Rented places kind of rock that way.

Rat Patrol marathon on the binge network..

I remember it being better when I was a kid.

 

OMG I remember watching Rat Patrol on Windowpane once. I think they were acting out The Wall, which was also playing. That's the only time I ever remember watching Rat Patrol.

 

Carcass. Lol. I've seen them live and I was head thrashing and my hair got tangled with one of the guitarists hair and the security had to like untangle us and he kept playing and never missed a chord. Threw a water bottle at me after the show. not that that's the carcass you talking about.

It made my whole summer when I met Dani Filth of Cradle of Filth. I was around 14 and asked my mother to drop me off at the show. She was terrified because everyone was in black and corpse paint. She was even more upset when she saw what I had him sign a poseter with a topless nun being plowed by the devil from behind that said "get thee behind me Satan". I think I still have it but I lost interest in that sort of music shortly after.

 

found another goose egg. thats 3, but in 3 different places in the yard. so not a nest, unless it was a really dumb goose. probably a raccoon. man, we did so much today. i will try to get a few pictures uploaded as we get areas closer to done. kid says his back hurts, try carrying an extra 30 pounds dude.
