i love black eyed peas. de-freaking-licious. collard greens too. hot dogs and potatoes i can see, but if im having kraut i want kielbasa.

^ and seriously...if you don't eat at least one and preferably both you will have No Money for the year.

Also don't wash clothes on New Year's Day...can't remember why.

I don't like collards and it seems New Year's is the single day I remember needing to ALWAYS wash clothes. lol

The Mother observes ALL "traditions", which I thought were everywhere, but apparently they aren't.

But then she has money, which we have to go back to the bank tomorrow for the cd rollover since if we did it ONE DAY ahead of time (Wednesday, when we originally went) we'd be losing close to 1%. BUT we have 10 days after today to do the official thing and not lose anything, but gain it. mercysakes

So, we go tomorrow to the bank, then I'm taking her (for the 1st time) to the grocery store.

I'm taking a book and sitting in the car...hell, I might even nap. lol She'll be fine in the store.

Then work from 3 til the day turns into Sat sounds like fun. yay me.

what a miserably rainy day for field day. i feel bad for the kiddos. they were supposed to have water events in the afternoon, even my kid was like " i dont think i want to do those" i told him if the teacher has a problem with it to have them call me. wont get higher than 60 degrees today, at best. and it is all kinds of rainy and cloudy. even MY joints are killing me from the moisture, that rarely happens. i mean, i have pains, sure, but its gotta be really wet and crappy to make all my bendy parts hurt so bad. i might go back to bed for awhile. if the rain stops i can do a little bit outside, but it might just be a napping, laundry, video game day.

I have a party this weekend.....gf from when I was 16 and who I still ''see'' once or twice a year for our sex fix.....she hasn't even seen her husband naked in 12 years....dudes a drunk

anyway....a buddy who I confided in about her called her behind my back and asked her to go to this party with him....LOL

nice try.......I had already tried to get her to come 2 months ago but her mom is real sick and she cant.......

I decided to go up there tomorrow and make an appearance but wont be staying....I already know my dogs not welcome so fuck it

 

no party really, mostly work..

 

I worked 2 evictions today, it's a lot better than moving people's stuff because they aren't around to bitch at you about the way you handle it, haha.

The second one was pretty sad though.. the place was in a mess and stank, not to mention the state of the fridge. Drug bags (coke and weed baggies), empty cigarette packs, empty beer bottles, rolling papers littered all over the floor. Bed bugs and cockroaches as well.

The sad part was that they seemed to have had a kid in there as well. Money for everything but the rent..

in the meantimes.. got a new gas grill .. havent taken it out the box yet. just sort of overwhelmed with shit right now. grass and burning debris.

A new grill sounds nice, now you just have to go out hunting and find a proper piece of meat to put on your grill when you deflower it

probably fish and chicken some veggies.. i bought one those trays so its easier to grill little things like mushrooms.

 

No memorial days plans for me. Will probably just stay home and play the Witcher. I helped my sister move out of her college town this week, I am so tired of all these 3rd floor apartments she lived in. Every spring and fall we need me because I am tall and stronger lol. But she graduated now so I guess just the house she finds is left.

 

Ah nice, I haven't tried many grilled mushrooms, but I know grilled chanterelles are nice. Bit of oil brushed over it and some salt.. mmh

its somekind of technical institute school but just hearing the name makes my kidneys ache

 

I hate the cancer kids commercial .. and that dickhead from liberty mutual that goes BOOM and then BOOM a second time. I bet the charity money raised getting in the ring with the boom boom guy would cover the cancer kids for 100yrs. I know lots people hate him.
