Thanks Lynn, unfocused, Broony and Orison. It sounds like epilepsy is not a one size fits all disease. After she comes out of the seizure she is just like always. I know that could change in the future. I will just keep watching her and see what this journey brings. If it gets bad I won't let her suffer.

sorry i havent commented, seizures can be scary, and i hope that everything stays on an even keel on that part. it is really good that she normalizes afterward.

im up to my butt in puppy problems. hubby brought home one, female. a mostly black chihuahua/ terrier mix (who knows how accurate that is) that is maybe 4 months old. i think she may be younger, but i really have no idea. shes very puppy playful, but also hits the naps hard. no name yet.
then, yesterday, his dad has him come by and he gets another one, black and white, our existing dog's half sister, and niece. yep. an inbred puppy. very cute, but also female, and only 6 weeks old. so SHE is still in the " i must be held and loved unless im sleeping" stage, and is too small to play with the older puppy yet. i told him he had the choice, but that i was fine with the pup he already brought home. and 6 weeks is too early, it makes me mad that hubby's dad and his significant other do that, shes such a moron. they also gave the pups free reign of their apartment (so now she expects that) and started handling them immediately, which again, is ridiculous. its no wonder the mama is a psycho now, so many litters, and all handled before thier eyes were even open. at least i know how to take care of a 6 week old pup, its just tough with the older one that im trying to get to pee outside. and Xena, while a small dog herself, is built, and she wants to play rough. sits on the black puppy, and hits/ whips her with her butt in passing.

now, for the moment, they are all having a nap in close proximity to each other. and my house smells like puppy pee. hubby just cant say no. and now its going to be up to me to rehome one, or cope with both. they are both adorable, and dogs need good and decent homes. but ugh, i have so much else to do without this added.

does it have front tow loops?

i used to tow a lot of toyota tercels ...specialized in the jessie pinkman type 1983 to 1986 models...after a while i got the idea to weld angle iron tabs on the top edge of my tow bar...with 2 hitch pins to go through the holes i drilled in them (and a safety chain)

might be easy for you to make a triangular tow bar like that..i think youre the one that said you have a welder

for slow driving nearby/in town i would leave the steering unlocked...for highway id leave it locked and drag around the corners

sidenote ...ropes and chains are only legal here for recovery (from ditches or to remove a disabled car from a roadway)...not legal for towing but most of us still do it if we dont have far to go

I think it only has one tow hook, square in the center. At least it does on the back, I assume the front is the same.

Listening to the Windies vs England.

The Windies are putting up a fight, I think this one may end in a draw as with the first Test.

blah blah, had to talk to my mom today. her car insurance called here, long and short of it is the opposing side wants more money than her coverage....

"thats why it was better when i was with you, so it wont affect dad"

no, mom. thats why you shouldnt have fucking done it. i dont feel bad for her, i feel bad for my dad. SHE put me in this position. so what, im supposed to ruin my own life and sanity, to make things easier for her? um, no. and she sounds loopy as hell. was she stoned? medicated? drinking again? who the fuck knows. im so sick of her, and her skewed sense of everything. SHE fucked up, SHE hit someone. shes damn lucky they are only trying to get 58 k out of her. (coverage is 25 k) but while i feel bad for dad, i could. not. take. another. week. she doesnt even realize how little tolerance i have for her now. will i go so far as to ignore her/ disown her? no. but im not interested in chit chat, or having her visit, or any time in the same space as her. i was stuck with her for 8 months. terribly sorry i cant let you mooch and leech off my life anymore, mom. #sorrynotsorry.

the car insurance laws here force us into $200k minimum coverage ...but most people have 1 million on their policy because its just a few dollars more and most companies just default it at a mil instead of telling people they could get less

well he left, told him give her a jar of water,

jar... yea... ived used 16oz mason jars as my water/drinking anything for several years.

so she got one... maybe she wake up right now.. doubt it... but maybe the smell of burrito will call her.

mason jars are awesome, for one its made of glass, 2nd I can put on a cap on it ya take it somewhere.

I hate drinking out of plastic, bought some orange juice few weeks ago... hate plastic. It has that damn taste..

Cans taste like tin.. even though its more aluminum..

    Yeah man, jars are great.

In theory, I like those jam jars with handles, but in practice, they don't fit any of my other lids, so that's like half the draw gone.

You can also always throw your weed in them. Or anything you need to keep dry. Or anything you need to keep wet.

Cans can taste funny, but some things should be out of a can. Dr. Pepper is absolutely unacceptable any way but from a can, doesn't taste right any other way.

Yeah, fuck plastic - you can usually taste it, but even if you can't, it just feels cheap and lame.

Today I wasted like half an hour getting a tire off a truck wheel (which I use as a car stand, because fuck jackstands, and my clutch job will require some high lifting on somewhat soft ground - taking every block/beam/jack/etc in my arsenal, since it's an hour there), so that it wouldn't take up my whole damn trunk. One bead was broken, so I cut out the sidewall and started trying to cut the bead - hacksaw, shears, bolt cutters.... eventually I was able to wrestle the bolt cutters in and twist it so it didn't slip out.

Then I realized the other bead was still set anyway, and did what I would have from the start, if I'd had half a brain: used a kitchen knife to cut a circle around the sidewall in about 30 seconds, and just left the bead on the rim.

    Lesson learned.

i used to break beads by jacking up my truck bumper with the jack foot on bead edge

then one day i got a sweet deal on a used fmc tire machine

Older John Deere rims have a second ridge inside the bead so once you get the bead broken you have to wrestle the tire over that ridge... Like a double bead. Pain in the ass with just some modified pry bars to work with. Especially if you want to save the tire.
