I've been a member here since 8/18/2008 and I've never told anyone when it was my birthday...well, this year I'm doing something different.

Right now - today, October 8, is my birthday. It was official at 2:29am - I turned 59, going on a non-ending mental 40. Yeah, I liked 40...I was mature enough to not do what I knew I shouldn't but still young enough to "boogie woogie" all night long, and enjoy it! Plus nobody had any idea my real age, so that was fun too. lol

I like knowing I'm just that much closer to drawing retirement. We can all pretend that there is no question I'll still have my sanity in 3 yrs.

My grandpa had to be taken to the hospital in the middle of the night with arm pain. It's sad he used to be strongest person I knew. Like he could fix anything and he was always the guy to go for the "man" things I guess you would say. I had a dad but he was less hands on not a bad guy just not as old school ok get me my toolbox I will fix it sort of guy. Now I have to help him get in and out of a chair.
