saw my rheumatologist today... xrays show minor damage to joints in my hands. that, along with my symptoms and my response to my medications leads him to believe that it is most likely rheumatoid arthritis. fuck.

yeah, it sucks. he didn't give me any pain medication, but it's not often that it gets bad enough that i can't bear it. if it stays the way it is right now, i'd be fine with it, i'm just worried that it's going to progress and get worse. no point in worrying about it though, i suppose... not like i can do anything to stop it.
