My solution to both are the same, despite me liking a minority.

I'm talking about flower or food gardens. Like when you own a home and plant a garden. Then the cat thinks it's his place to shit all the time.

 

I've been called a topper before.
It just seems to me that a topic comes up, you remember something else interesting related to that and then talk about that as conversation.

If it's being a topper over woe stories, then I get how 'topping' is a bad thing but otherwise, it's just kinda normal conversation.

i dont think that i will replace my cat when he dies. lots of reasons. i could see having farm/ barn cats, but i think i would rather invest my energy in "pets" that serve a purpose, whether that be food or fur or fiber.

 

My pet's purpose is stress relief.
