The NRA is a powerful group even though most Americans do not agree with them somehow they always get their way. I think the laws allowing us to have guns come from a different time and do not necessarily apply now. But the main issue to me is all the pharmaceuticals people are on. Most times these shooters are on them too. They are known to have severe side effects and withdrawals. If you have a medical weed card you are not allowed to own a gun since it is believed it will mess with your mind. But we do not do the same thing for these pharmaceuticals.

Maybe if we did something about that we could still respect the second amendment and not have to deal with all this violence. I am not a gun person but I can see some Americans are.
