Fired up the triangle brazier today my friend Chris made out of 1" re-bar...

Burned some meat, baked potatoes on the coals, simmered some veggies on the side. Haven't done that for over 10 years. Damn.

owwwwie. my farthest back molar on the already hurty side is hurting bad. i have an appointment wednesday, but im going to call tomorrow and let them know theres something else up. im going to ask him to pull the fucker out. its super sensitive to pressure, and its not feeling any better. he wont want to pull the corresponding bottom one out yet, but theres no fucking room in my jaw, never has been, thats why my wisdom teeth were impacted, they never had a chance. and flossing was always a bitch, because there isnt enough space between the teeth for the floss to move through.

its going to be hard to eat for the next few days, now that ive decided i ought to.

I haven't been to the dentist for a very long time, but ever since I started to smoke weed I brush my teeth like 3-4 times a day. =p so I hope I'm kind of safe.
This one day a few years back I had some fondu (is like melted cheese you dip things in) with my main meal and I dipped bread and the cheese was very hot and when it hit my tooth I felt the "crick" and it stung for weeks but it went away. I know I should have had it checked but honestly I don't see a justification for the money involved. May as well have them all rot away and buy a brand spanking new set all at once instead of costly individuals.

But my teeth aren't that bad anyway.

    Oh My Irm and MoLo!!!

Irm, I'm going to talk to you like I would my boy (whom IS my heart!)...GO TO A DENTIST! Any money expended on teeth is damn well worth it! I'm old and I know what I'm talking about. Plus, I know dang good and well you and your girl could afford anything to do with teeth, doctoring, etc. :) I say this with , and I'm sure you know it. Going to regular cleanings, etc will make sure you will ALWAYS be beautiful, in your mouth anyway. lol ;)

MoLo, for as large as my mouth has always seemed (to me as well as everybody else), it isn't large enough inside, so I know what you are talking about. My wisdom teeth weren't impacted, but there wasn't enough room by a long shot, and they were removed before I was 19. That being said, please my dear friend, think hard about getting teeth pulled if there is any other option. Crowns may not last a lifetime, but 10 to 15 years is a really long time to not worry about a tooth. You know it helps your overall health to be able to eat well. BUT...I wouldn't worry about getting a tooth pulled at the back. Get that fucker out and the rest may sit better.

You are so strong and these teeth problems must be bad for you to be having problems for the few minutes you've been having them. Good thoughts (and etc) are going to you! :)

I've had a LOT of dental work done...and I ALWAYS have had serious work done going by the moon.

Go ahead everybody and make fun...being older definitely has its benefits because I don't care who laughs about going by the moon, or rather the almanac concerning dental work. :)

For years the almanac (moon signs) were what guided farmers as to the best time to plant, harvest, etc.

Anyway, I always made sure the moon sign is not in the head, or the feet, because the feet is considered near the head because that is the sign that preceeds. The premise is that there will be either excessive bleeding or not enough bleeding if you have work done when the moon is in the sign for that area...and we are talking mouths here.

Anyway, when I went by the almanac, even the dentist and his assistants said (more than once) they couldn't believe with all I had done that I never had a problem...well, the ONLY time I had a problem with a dry socket was when I didn't heed what I saw in the almanac. :(

The same principle would apply for surgery of any kind (such as eye surgery).

i had the top and bottom back molars on the right removed a few years ago, 2009 i think. it did loosen up that side, and i have brushed my teeth religiously since then.
having the top and bottom back ones removed on the left would even me out, and i will probably end up getting a crown on the second-from-the-back molars. but im on team "knock 'em all out" because my bottom front teeth have been crooked all my life and it would be nice to have a good looking 'grill' grille? le grille? what the hell is that?!?

:D At work, I see people occasionally come in and they have like these metal teeth, usually across the top, but sometimes the bottom, or both! What they have is what I call a grille. lol When I see them I'm reminded of the steel teethed? toothed? man in the James Bond movies.

Evening the teeth out sounds like a good plan.

Knocking those lower ones out has caused some people I know loads of problems in adjusting to lower dentures...that is as opposed to the upper ones supposedly not being a big deal.
