I worked like a sweating mule today.

I mowed the back yard today; but I did have to take a break. Next I'll have to trim the edges of stuff that I couldn't get the mower to. Of course I'm using a push mower, which in this wilderness is the only way to get to all the places where grass/weeds grow.

You know if you consistently mow weeds, it looks like grass when its all mowed. :D

I was so tired, I passed out early...hence, here I am at 4:46am.

Getting the "lawn" (I'm using that word - lawn very loosely here) prepared for mowing is quite the feat...picking up limbs, rocks big enough to see without trying, loading these piles of debris The Mother just puts where ever in the wheelbarrow, That is just part of this yard.

Loading up my debris - cuttings from the machete and hatchet earlier in the week is the next part before mowing. One could also call my machete and hatchet hedge clippers. :) Then I get to rake up leaves and limbs before I move to the next area of wilderness.

mercysakes I would just let the leaves stay and mow them, but they are mixed in with limbs that the last windstorm here left.

    yay nature. lol

At some point, I am DETERMINED to pot up and plant my plants that I paid actual money for...better be soon, before the season ends. gad

The more I do, the more I am amazed anew at how much The Mother did outside until the last couple of years.

freakin unbelieveable. She worked out there everyday...I knew it but didn't think about it a lot or even at all. That was something she had always done. Even if it was just an hour, it was everyday

We have both watered flowers daily, or as needed, for years and that takes well more than a minute...but what I'm talking about goes beyond that.

If I'm able to get the outside and the inside under control, HELL NO there is no damn way I could/can do that and hold down a job.

We now have a fresh and Very Hardy flea invasion.

Everybody I know here would want to blame my precious Jack for the fleas...so I do take great pleasure telling them nobody can blame Jack, gone now in August for 3 yrs...even if he will always live in my heart or that he is waiting for me on the other side, he damn sure can't be blamed for fleas present now. (I don't know where that came from. [IMG] )

    fucking yay for character building.

My plan is to sprinkle diatomaceous earth all in this living room and my adjoining bedroom/computer/reading/research area and let it stay at least for 6 hours, then to vaccuum. I know that doesn't sound like a huge ordeal...but ALL THE DAMN STUFF that must be picked up to get to the floor make me want to almost :bigcry:

ok, I guess that's it, for a minute. lol :)

i dont have anything constructive to say, but i want to get to a new page soon. opening to this one ard thinking about a penis-cutting dream is not helpful to me.

munchkin may have grown extra limbs. i hope not. but im thinking he must have rolled with his back to my belly, and have his ankles crossed. so im catching feet, knees, and elbows, but only on the sides. hes really running out of room in there. at this point they say they gain an ounce a day. based on measurements from june first, that would make him just over 6 lbs now. i was 6 lbs, 10 oz. got furniture moved yesterday, desk and dresser anyway. now need to go through all the things and wash, dry, sort, put away all the baby clothes, after getting through all of the big people clothes. ugh.

Just got home from breaking up family drama caused by the 4 girls who live next door. Yep, my granddaughters. It's not easy to keep those 4 in line.

Us four daughters are pretty good together despite being completely different from one another but we get along well. When we were all together we always went out and found each other at night and at parties etc. I think most people thought it was cool that 4 sisters could all come together at the same party or find each other in the streets at night. Out of all the text messages and phone calls, like a good 90% on a Saturday night was just trying to find each other so we could all get home together.

My girls don't want to be separated really. The triplets don't like it when their older sister goes somewhere they don't.

It's weird with the triplets because they've gotten to where two of them will play together and try to exclude the third one. It's not so bad when my grandson is there because the odd girl will hang out with him; or all three girls will decide to exclude him and then it gets shitty again.

They've been shoving and kicking each other this week. One of the triplets took another ones' tablet and spiked it into the floor last evening.

    I think they miss school.

I'm going to have to give them some structure in their day now. Summer free-time is over. They can't handle it.

A 311 song was on this morning. Was stuck in my head all day. Then i took a moisture test when i got to work and it was 3.11. And just now i got a salt craving. Went to the snack machine to get pretzels and they were under the number 311.
If i played the lottery i know what number i would be playing.

That number thing happened to me a week or two ago. I didn't get time to buy the ticket and damn sure didn't check to see if it came in.

The lady on the other side of my sons' house is in a grocery co-op and gives us stuff.

Today, she brought a case of peanut butter cookies. Luckily they were not frozen yet and I could separate them and put them into freezer bags. If I counted correctly, there were 30 dozen cookies! I just baked some...Nom nom nom...
