Well, we've had enough rain for the next month... Too bad they are calling for rain for the next month. So glad I live on a hill...






I should have bought a boat though.

 

Plumber came. A friend of a guy I work with. He make it sound like there won't need to be crawling but he is a big man and cant squeeze into the hole in the wall that the former owner made. He told me he could supervise me into fixing it because I am small enough to squeeze into the hole. I am ok with that if he didn't expect a payday. He said he was too busy to do it today or tomorrow though. Luckily I have water and can shower at work so I can deal with a few days with no water from my faucets

 

I am so pleased that the bird house that my friend gave me last year has another nest of birds that have hatched and I am sure it is the same pair of bird who made it their home again this year. When the female leaves the bird house I can hear lots of little chirps. I hope I get to see them leave the nest.

-yawn- well I haven't slept very well over the last couple of days and now I feel like a zombie a bit. I just got a decent 25mins. I think my brain just keeps on thinking and thinking. Plus my miss dropped rabbit off in the bed with me which was kinda scary when I felt him. I can take less sleep when cute things like that happen. I feel like I'll be buying an energy drink soon. Damn. It's not even midnight. Maybe I should be normal and sleep.

ferry line was goddamned suicidal today...I arrived on the city side at 2o5,,,i boarded at 4 pm docked here at 420.........many minutes in the blazing sun with the rcmp police boat docked and shift changing 50 feet from me.....I didn't care....still rolled up and sparked up

 

dispatcher .. Ill have to pass the physical and eye, hearing exam, paid training, pay is $27.00hr. cant say how Im going to pass the drug test but Im confident I can ..

well today was a learning day


turns out hondas are very particular about air in the coolant after doing major repairs......it takes major bleed time plus an idle relearn procedure for them to run right


wish id known that before...sure would have saved a lot of stress


anyway its all figured out now and runs great...time to tally up the bill and get that shit outta here ffs


turns out the radio was passcoded too...im leaving that bullshit to the owner to figure out because he should have told me that knowing the battery was going to be out

he was originally told he needed a whole engine from someone else....but after looking at it i said i could fix it...turned out to be way more wrong than my original diagnosis but it still turned out that parts and labour were cheaper than just the price of a used engine would have been without labour....
