My doggie LOVES soccer balls. I think the longest lasted about 2 minutes. same with basketballs, although can last about 5 minutes.
I should video him killing a soccer ball, it's kinda terrifying to watch all those muscles tense and pull until you hear that RIIIIIIPPP!!! of the ball.
I have managed to teach him that if he doesn't chew the crap out of stuff in seconds, that he can play with the same ball for days. So now he will pick a ball for reasons he only knows and will only play with that ball and he treats it very nicely.
Any other ball is totally ignored unless he wants to shred something. He does manage to keep the same ball for over a week at a time now. :D

    Well, speak of the devil.
Guess who just came in wanting to play.
He must have heard me typing about him.
    I guess he's feeling better now. :)

I've had a stuffed echidna which I call Pokey and it's about the size of my hand. Other than pulling its eyes out my boy has looked after that toy. We have rubber pigs with similar to duck and deer air callers so when you squish the pig or sheep it makes a grunting noise. He doesn't destroy these either. He may end up puncturing it so it's not audible but he won't destroy the toy. His rope though. The favorite rope he's finally bitten through.

Hard rubber is your friend. I went to a plumbing store and bought big rubber washers the size of a dinner plate. About the thickness of my thumb. We can tug o war with that and it stretches etc. he won't get through that. Also have a big rubber "kong" I bought from pet store. It's solid but enough to put a finger inside so you hide treats in there and he gotta get them out.

My friend was dogsitting one time. We went out so he locked the dog in the bathroom.
He got home and said the dog chewed through the door. I said thats impossible and had to see what it did. Yup the dog chewed a whole through the door and some of the linens in the bedroom.

Today my mom calls me for the second time this year to take a trip to the county seat to pick up something she found on an online trading site. Both times she wrote down the wrong number house and we ended up driving up and down a road looking for a house number that was not on that road.

I got our dog used to loud noises kinda early. I mean I'm sure the death metal helped  but we used cap guns and then starter pistols to make him not gun shy which was important had I continued to show him in comps.

Now he looks at the sky with thunder. He's a bit mixed feeling with it because well I tend to howl and carry on when big claps of thunder happen. When I hear a big clap of thunder, I know somewhere in conscious Thor has just walloped a giant down with anvil tone delivery. ;) so I howl and cheer and my boy is always like 0.0 wassdat wassgoingon

They made a big deal back in the day when the best golfer was black and the best rapper was white but you really know your in the new millinium when you got a black president and a white head of an naacp chapter.

i have complex opinions on that topic, but she is pretty nutty. i have no patience for stupid, she cant even answer the easy questions.

another blown out window up by me. pretty isolated for "road debris"
im pretty sure theres a sniper and they think they are doing the public a favor by leading them by the nose. if it were road debris, it wouldnt just be north of denver. if it were road debris, there would need to be cars nearby the damaged ones to kick it up, which is not generally the case. but oh, no, this one doesnt appear to be related to the unprovoked shootings north of denver either. uh huh. im not buying it.
