^ makes me think of Raj on the Big Bang Theory. :D

Yes, the moon is awesome again tonight. Even tho' the clouds drift in front of it, it was so bright you see it through the clouds.

I wonder how much money that dude got for that Very Scary tight-rope walk. I agree with rollin...no dang way! I do real good to walk on the little 1 foot tall brick "coping" (my mother calls it) that lines the drive and is at least 6" across. :p

Oh, and on the tv I saw the flooding in Canada from the rain and river overflowing. That looked bad.

the flooding out in alberta is pretty crazy. i was watching the news last night and they were talking about people who were defying the evacuation order and staying home... pretty stupid. power and gas will be shut off anyway, and by staying home you're risking the need for emergency services to risk their lives to come rescue you. if someone defies the order to evacuate, i think they should be left to fend for themselves if they're that stupid.

Are there services to help evacuate the poor and elderly?

i cant tell if by back pain is "flare up" in nature, if i twisted it without realizing, or if its from coughing. it freaking hurts though. im not even comfortable laying down.

When my back is hurting I use a heating pad and it sometimes helps ....
Backs aches are no fun there is no way to be comfortable
Hope your back is feeling better soon ML

me too. i cant tell if ice or heat will be better, its a different pain than my regular pain. im wearing a quasi loose corset to remind me to move gently, and to hold me when i cough. i think its gotta be from that, im not really congested, but i have a wet cough in the mornings especially. i think my allergies settled into my chest. i dont feel sick at all, just grungy, no fever. but oh the pain. i will make the boy go and get our heating pad for me. i have some rice socks, i like those, but im not sure where i put them.
i also broke down a little and took part of an old vicodin, hopefully that will knock it down without knocking me out. i could never use pills like that for fun, not when i know how bad it is to need one and not have them.

i know i cant move the furniture, but i have to get the dishes done today. i feel useless and broken.
