its 32F here... and snowing... just like winter... at least 6" has dropped... and will continue to snow into tomorrow... \

I drove through this winter storm to get to a job interview today.... Get to the restaurant and the sign outside says "Closed due to mother nature"... But the owner was dropping off groceries... Come to find out the manager wasn't there either... They had never called me to reschedule... But it seemed to work in my favor to drive in this storm for an interview... Shows that I really was interested in the job... And the owner commended me for driving in such weather for an interview... The owner and I talked for some time... I worked for one of his friends and I filled out an application for them to have on file while we talked... I got a very good vibe that I got this job... His wife remembers me... He said that he had heard his wife and the KM discussing me and that I would be a perfect fit to the job...

Also my car is at the garage for an estimate because i did something to my exhaust system plowing through the snow drifts to get to my interview i had noticed that my car had gotten louder below me... then all of a sudden on my way into work it got really loud.. so i dropped it off at the garage and walked into work... I better get this job

i have two goddamn mountain bike races this weekend. that will make 4 races in a row in the rain. saturday is a six hour.. sunday is a 30 mile up in tn or fuck is it nc where the kayak events were during the '96 atlanta olympics. ridden up there once before its pretty legit

 

i like it. im watching some of the other videos now. old victorian? what year? i love victorians. all of the different types. one day we will build a new victorian. servant's stairs, secret cubbies, but energy efficient and no lead paint.

old houses have good bones. even when they are falling apart. cleaned and sanded, fresh paint, couple of throw pillows...
theres so much you CAN do with a house. you can add monkey bars, secret spaces. you can make it yours, even if it starts out a mess. its the power of potential.

i lived in the loft of a barn from a fall through winter...which was hell..and into the psring tell i left state at end of may...

i wanted to paint in giant letters on the barn 'i suck cock' cause the neighbor would drive by everyday on his road and have to read that on my property...cause the dude complained about me using 30 feet of his 2 mile drive way.

my place had no running water and only insulation on the floor with sliding glass door...

woke up in december and went t get glass of water at bed stand and it was frozen...so i grabbed my coat and took my tv into land lords house in middle of night lol...she thought iwas brekaing in at first..i didnt want my tv to crack...i slept in her daughters room for 2 weeks...w/o her daughter...bitch was crazy. family was crazy

i cant believe i paid that woman as much as i did for that heatless dump...

this was in my alcoholic days...but i did leave with a lime green hand swen quilt that is amazing...
