i survived the day...thought i was going to have a heart attack but a cold shower when i got in seems to have helped..still shaky as hell and feel like im going to throw up

my arms feel like jello and my head feels like exploding

i just have to be more careful on hot days//

 

i guess eating would have helped too...i went out on this job i knew was going to be hard and hadnt eaten anything at all

and a frozen gel pack on my neck

I thought I was going to have to leave the ballpark by ambulance over the weekend. I could not get cooled off enough to not feel ill.

I was drinking cool water, wearing a hat, light colored clothes, sitting under an umbrella, putting a wet rag on my face and neck. Nothing was bringing the heat down.

Hubby finally saved my life when he bought a huge cup of ice and put my gatorade on ice.

I'll be packing a cooler with plenty of ice for this weekend's tournaments.

 

i dont know how you sutherners survive down there


the worse part is its not even really hot today

its like 70f....but being in an open farm field didnt help...no shade


i thought of glen today...drove past bathurst street,,,he'd be happy to know its out in farm country

 

I only had heat stroke once in my life and it is not something I ever want to experience again. It was horrid.
