My car in high school was a black BMW 1600. It was extremely cool in my own mind, but my classmates had never heard of a BMW so nobody was impressed. It was 1968 and everyone bought American, except for the VW bug.

I love those old BMW's.And Mercedes from the same time period.I find modern car design mostly ugly.

In high school I walked sometimes, usually when it was nice, but when it was raining or cold I'd get dropped off at the school early by my dad on his way to work. Actually, he would just let me off on the side of the road across from the school, lol.

if I was dropped off.. I walked in the front door and out the back. high school was no joy.

High school was okay for me. I didn't really hang out with the "cool" crowd, but I played football and am a big guy, so nobody really fucked with me haha.

such awesome weather today. its been windy last few days, which has made the snow melt much faster... today no wind.

my yard is all grass now... but it gets about as much sunshine it can because of how the mountains are and the location of the property.

It's warm and sunny out there, lots of giant puddles and streams of water from the melting snow.

i ate my lunch with my favorite teacher, to avoid getting picked on. in middle school in NY i was in the accelerated group, so it was all too-smart people, and even then the cool kids separated from the outcast kids and i got picked on. came to colorado, got picked on. changed schools, got picked on.
im glad the online schools are accesible, and even homeschooling has a lot of options. my boy wont be doing middle or high school with other people unless he chooses too. i may not send him to the public school next year. 3rd is earlier than i wanted to switch him, but i dont think hes going to get along with poorly behaved or stupid kids, no matter how long i leave him in that situation. i feel like there are more options for learning without indoctrination and therapy, through the schoool.

also- theres a new bill designed to give doctors more freedom to share their patients "risks" i guess. so instead of needing a specific threat to tell the police, it will be more general. so, im pretty sure i can never see a therapist here. i would be locked up in a heartbeat, because i think differently.

Cool, I'm a big BMW fan. I can imagine how unpopular they were then. Plus maybe still some resentment over the war. I know when my grandpa bought my mom a Toyota for college some people in the family were pissed because they were "the enemy" still.
