orison, that pic reminds me of my dad after his heart attack. he also had a stent put in through the groin. lots of fun.

he has been eating better and exercising (not as much as he should, but still some) since then and at his last appointment the cardiologist told him he only has a 2% chance of another cardiac event in the next 10 years if everything stays as it is right now.

 

prof emailed back and said it was fine to hand it in a couple of days later. everyone at this school is so accommodating, it helps me so much.

i'm taking classes in the summer, and my goal is going to be to try and finish everything a week ahead of time, so that if I have an anxiety attack it won't feel as catastrophic.

you guys are awesome, sometimes just reading a kind word here is enough to boost my spirits and bring me out of it.

 

I cant put off school any longer, but on the other hand Ive only a few grains of support that really dulls my interest.

oh and this: cant cover your medical with open warrants..

guess what, Im not paying them either!

But it was a pretty good time.

 

My mother's dad is in the hospital now. Unlike my father's side this does matter to me. He had some clots in his lung but it all started when he called me saying he fell down and could not get up. I was not able to get him up since he is like 6'2 and 270. I had to call 911 and watch the firemen do it like it was nothing. It was not good, his screen was locked so he had to crawl to unlock it for me since I only have a door key. Not good for his knees.

He's supposed to go to a rehab place but they have no bed. And his insurance is about to kick him out of the hospital. Don't you love American health care?

 

Hope it turns out okay...

I hope everything works out and you find a solution. With all the wealth in the world today, it seems ridiculous that we can't even provide health care to everyone. Hopefully we will see it in our lifetimes.

We have a sort of mesh metal security screen on our front door where you can see through it easy to outside but it's difficult to see who's inside when you're looking in. I prefer it that way too. Then I have my shield sitting in the left hand side of my door so if someone does want to come through they first need to beat my screen up and then they'll be face to face with a shield way too heavy for me and centred boss plate that's gonna fucking hurt when I shield bash their body to pieces. Best home defence ever, a big heavy ass Viking shield. =D

Yeah they're no good, I always seem to rip them apart. There's even better ones than the one I have now but my town isn't known for thieves and stuff so I probably don't even know it. The fact that I can answer the front door naked without anyone seeing is pretty nifty.
