he still has his tag... reads..

"Bruno the dog thinks he's a brute,
but all the other beanies think he's cute,
he growls at his tail and runs in a ring,
and everyone says, "Oh how darling!"

    lol..

    lol

    beanie babies.....

My shelf in the shed is filled with them in plastic containers. I used to collect them....some were going for mega dollars, and then you could not give them away, so their future is still uncertain......

I went to the MLB All Star game when it was in Denver in 98. At the time Beanie babies were huge and you got a special one when you went to the game. People were offering me hundreds of dollars to sell it when I left. I was told I could not because it was an investment. I could have gotten 500 or 600 that night I doubt I could get $5 for it now.

i always saw them as toys, i loved them, and ALWAYS got bitched at for playing with them and removing the tags. i still love them, i dont have a whole lot now though.

i really liked when mcdonalds did the mini beanie babies, i have a few of those still too.

the only reason I would grow my hair out is to lock it up.

    locks or nothing really.

I love having them and love when my hair is an inch long.

playing music and listening to it rocking out with dreads is one of the best things. Same with driving.

Showering and Hats is the best with short hair..

    Helmets fit better too..

As long as you watch them. I often get smacked by other people's dreads at concerts. I have debated getting them but I don't know if I could pull the look off. My hair is super thick anyway, growing it out is always work.

Since I slept this evening and then ate firecrackers, it seems I have an opinion about just everything now...don't cha know? lol

When I watch pro football, which I LOVE!...it bothers the hell outta me that those players have those long dreads hanging out of their helmets.

Why in the hell don't they at least bundle them up and stuff them down in their shirts? It isn't illegal/against rules for them to get grabbed by those dreads and in some cases long hair, and get yanked down. My son and I have discussed this, the dreads/long hair and legally getting yanked down while playing...my boy has been keeping his hair not shaved, but down to the 1/4" place for several years...says that's easy and he likes it. I think the hair on his face is about 1/8". :)

So that's my thought about football players and dreads...and probably tmi about my son and his hair. :)

there may be (probably will be) other thoughts to come. :D
