i know what he means about the dryer smell...neighbours dryer exhausts into the driveway side here and shes a laundry freak doing loads everyday...smelly shit she uses smells like deet mosquito repellent to me :ack2: she uses so much you can taste it

 

my washer eats those little measuring cups, so i have a couple of half-tennis balls i use as detergent cups. when stink is bad i use white vinegar. very rarely use any bleach. i would like to make my own laundry soap, but im not to that point yet.

my sister-in-law makes her own laundry soap out of soap nuts or something like that. gave us some and I just remembered it is still probably frozen solid in the back of the car.

 

I feel like I've just been going through the motions today... weird kind of dissociated feeling I get sometimes. I wrote a test this afternoon, but it felt almost mechanical. I don't know how to explain it. This was kind of a pointless post, I suppose.

I bought some licks burgers to cook for tonight...licks burger boxes have a coupon on the side for a free homeburger at any of their restaurants....so an 8 dollar box of 4 burgs only costs 3 ish in the end

 

i got all ready to do some painting...moved a ton of stuff out a room including the big one-piece bed i built a few years ago...patch up a few holes with putty and did as much prep as i could manage then i get the paint ready and do all the edges by brush and set up the rolller and on the second pass all the roller fuzz comes off peeled away like a croissant roll stuck on the wall full of paint.....fuck that buck store and their shitty china shit

I learned a long time ago to never cheap out on brushes and rollers. You wouldn't believe how much of my own money I've spent on quality stuff for commissioned painting jobs, just to save me from arguing over it with my employers.

I worked for 7 hrs 18 minutes today, without a sitting down break. I get to walk around...hell, have to walk is more like it. lol


The owners and somebody else (money management something?) were there for hours and fucking hours. Needless to say, the lobby is where they were, or where they stayed for the majority of the time. Have any of you ever thought how hard, much less aggravating it is to have to MOP (up mud tracks) during a lunch period)? mercysakes. hey, the mud tracks didn't bother me one single iota. The manager wanted them up with the "big people" there. :bobby:

When I left at 3:00 the lady owner was leaving also. They'd been there since 10. WTF! :ack2: Anyway, I'm so tired but sort of wound, I can't even get a good nap going. lol

 

The lady and a man own this particular store, I think. The man was real nice to me. He almost went out of his way to be nice. He left hours before the other 3, and made a point to tell me bye and bla bla.

I think it is because his wife is most probably a bitch, and most certainly didn't seem to take a liking to me.

But I'm good for business. thank God.
