    Good morning stoners :coffee:

Cold one this morning... it was -8 C (feels like -16) when I left the house.

I have a super boring class this morning that I unfortunately have to attend because I have to hand in an assignment. I don't often skip class, since I'm paying for it whether I go or not, but this prof is a very bad teacher and my time is usually better spent learning the material on my own from the textbook. Oh well, at least the rest of my profs are good.

And the cold weather is here... Currently 18F outside... Looks like it's supposed to slowly creep up near 50 by the weekend again though.

So went to see the oral surgeon yesterday... Gonna have teeth pulled on the 16th... Insurance won't pay for anesthesia. So that's $400 out of pocket... But the other $1300~ is covered... Now I just gotta figure out some soft food ganja recipes.

why hasn't anyone invented a 12x12 portable radiant heated floor using those small water heaters they install in public or factory washrooms....those heaters are only 2 feet tall and would sit in the corner... a tiny circulating pump from a big fish tank or a boat bilge pump

you throw the floor down in a room...connect the hose to the corner....plug in the water heater and 20 minutes later you have radiant flooring

    is there a flaw I don't see....

Water heaters. They'd be in a separate locked room away from the public in which they may be tampered with.

in the last place I worked there was a small water heater up in the ceiling above the washroom....

obviously many places have the traditional set-up with a big ass heater in a separate room but many places don't need that much hot water on hand so its a waste of money

    like this

I may have invented it myself....probably shouldn't of posted my zillion dollar idea

lined up some work... we'll see how it goes. i used to say my dream job would be getting paid to ride a motorcycle. looks like dreams really do come true.
might be sorry one day but, it's something new and it'll be novel, for awhile anyhow. plus i'm still independent, i can say yes or no to work as much as i want.

You could use a water heater, called "residential hot water" (meaning it's gonna be in your sink, shower etc.) to heat water for a radiator. The problem being you need to circulate the water somehow for a radiator. In a public washroom there's enough water usage to not need a pump, at home it could be a different deal. In order to do a pump you separate the second hot water heater, it's now specifically for the radiator, and has a holding tank with a float valve type fill system. This way on demand via thermostat you circulate hot water through the radiator... Most of those hot water tanks will pump out 150 degree water all day long. Plenty hot enough. You pay for the electric. (I don't have gas or propane)

They make wood/coal forced air inside furnaces with a "residential hot water" coil option. Perfect for heating the master bedroom and bath which have good radiators, or at least exposed enough to repair if need be. ;) While the forced hot air heats the rest of the house. (I can't run duct work into the bedroom section without it showing) Why hot air in the rest of the house? The radiators and piping are in slab or cast into ceiling. I don't know if any of that section is recoverable/repairable... if so I will use those and the boiler.

Lots of ideas and what if's floating around in my head. Not sure what I'm gonna end up doing.

Despite the insomnia and vomiting, yesterday was the best day I've had in a long time.
I can't recall the last time I had a day of zero anxiety!
