well the nice thing about insomnia is its easier to get up at 4am...

doing a small load of laundry, a few tokes, get ready for work..

ill be taking the dog for a good 45min/hour walk before I leave as I will be leaving her here today... the weather is too cold for me to constantly be going to the car to warm it up for her.. she will be better here, just bored..

neither of us want to do today..

 

sometimes I see people driving down my road with their dog running behind them.....If you have a greyhound I could see one not being able to tire out the dog and use a vehicle to give it a run....but not a lab or beagle

 

or pitbulls.. mine and everyone ive known is either full throttle in energy or asleep,, no in between..

almost all dogs id say get energy when they are walking, they start smelling and get curious and just wanna gogo

 

my friend was telling me about how he has stood guard on remembrance day at one of the many cenotaphs that is here.

he's done it 14 times

.you have to stand at attention for hours at a time in the freezing cold in your dress uniform....

.he said there would be snot just pouring out of their noses and old ladies would come and use wrinkly old Kleenex to wipe the snot from there faces

he said they always ended up with frost bite on their ears but would get incredibly drunk afterwords

More roof stuff today... Dang shed roof is gonna be heavy-duty though.

 

Why Waste Time On The Shed Roof When You Have No Heating

And Winter Is Just A Few Days Away...:freezing:.???

Because I have the materials... If I waited until next summer to do this roof the materials would be worthless and everything that is going to be stored in the shed will have sat outside getting damaged.



OR... If you prefer "It's because I'm an idiot and don't realize I don't have heat with winter starting in a few days..." If that make you feel better then that must be the reason...


Oh! and I have to take back my new log splitter... Damn thing won't start.
