Calling people "dummy" and "dim bitch" doesn't factor very high on a list of effective persuasive tools when you want to get your point across. After a while when a person establishes a record of disparaging another whatever point that's being debated will get lost when the focus becomes character. You can be 100% factually correct yet destroy your own credibility with the wrong debate tactics.
to promote the idea of a virtual reality there still needs to exists a medium of law and dimensional space-time in which to project a virtual reality into existence ...it is easy to say we don't live in one because we have physics of mechanical repeatability and natural order and patterns...using quantum mechanics as a way of pointing toward evidence of VR is just an excuse not to think because we don't fully understand it, therefore i can also claim QM is proof of aliens, god, green unicorns, you're nether promoting a hypothesis nor a movie, but rather your lack of scientific literacy and your bad taste in film this doesn't belong in science but rather the i'm to dumb to read books emo-science dumbassian thread
I know man, just feeling combative and entertaining myself. I've kind of been at it all day, playing SC2 talking shit. Don't usually indulge but this shit's delicious right now.
Yes- but the job of maintaining civility in this situation is a bit like a single janitor of a cafeteria where a massive food fight is about to break out. Your pot shots are only going to provoke issues that I'm going to have to deal with. I hate like hell being heavy handed... I'd prefer to have faith that the combatants will have the good sense to stand down and avoid a debate turning into a verbal fist fight. PLEASE stick with the debate and leave the personalities alone... ALL. Peace.
...and this response (the last part anyway) belongs in the "if I were a boxer I'd hit below the belt and hope the ref didn't see it" thread.
