to promote the idea of a virtual reality there still needs to exists a medium of law and dimensional space-time in which to project a virtual reality into existence ...it is easy to say we don't live in one because we have physics of mechanical repeatability and natural order and patterns...using quantum mechanics as a way of pointing toward evidence of VR is just an excuse not to think because we don't fully understand it, therefore i can also claim QM is proof of aliens, god, green unicorns, you're nether promoting a hypothesis nor a movie, but rather your lack of scientific literacy and your bad taste in film

Yes- but the job of maintaining civility in this situation is a bit like a single janitor of a cafeteria where a massive food fight is about to break out. Your pot shots are only going to provoke issues that I'm going to have to deal with. I hate like hell being heavy handed...
