I suppose so, McFuddy, but I just don't talk like that. Maybe I should learn to be more of a smart ass....Can be if push turns to shove, I guess, though.
I could have said the what's your point part, surely....Did not think of that....I was just too dumbfounded at that moment. He knows, if one of my pugs escapes again and runs up to one of his dogs, he will not be responsible for any injury or death. He seems to be waiting for that. I am on high alert, though, and when I spot him, go way out of my way to avoid.
I like the independence of a cat and that they use a litter box -- stay indoors, don't need constant attention. So, I choose cat. I have a big fluffy black cat. I do like dogs, I really do -- I just can't do the whole 'taking them outside to go potty' or go for walks and all that. I don't think I could successfully train a dog or puppy. Plus I don't like how some of them smell. If I were to have a dog, it would be a huge german shepard. -- already trained.
Dogs...not only do I need to exercise them all of the time, which is good for me and gets me out there and keeping fit, but there is the bathing. I bath each of the 5 pugs....and send the Golden to a groomer, as the golden is too big for my bathtub///and not to metnion vet bills. Are you kidding me? ......WHat THE HELL was I thinking?????
Cat. No question. I love dogs, don't get me wrong, but I relate to cats more easily and really appreciate the fact that I don't need to walk my cats. Cats seem more complex and nuanced, while dogs seem more obvious in their thoughts and personalities. I've got a bunch of cats, almost all rescues - some were very near death when I found them. They're all just great. I do wish people were more responsible about getting their cats and dogs fixed, and not letting them out to breed or get lost / hurt. But that's another subject altogether. I heard somewhere long ago that if you don't truly like cats, you don't truly like women. That might be accurate. I like both.
Interesting Theory, I Am Going To Send My Mind Back Through Many Years, And Many Friends.... I Shall Get Back To You, But To Be Honest I Think Guys Who Own Super Agressive Dogs Fall Into The Same Catagory.... Cheers Glen.
I have four cats and one dog. I must say that I prefer cats to dogs, but I do love the one I have. Had six cats but had to put to sleep in the last three weeks due to illness
Someone had the most loveable pitbull yesterday.....and he was so docile. If I ever get a another dog again, I am thinking pit bull now....lol It would be great to have one that looks like famous Petey from little rasal....the one eye bandit type....
I love cats, and I love dogs. But being the lazy fucker that I am I prefer cats. I just don't want to have to walk the dog in the middle of winter.
I've had both most of my life and even a coatimundi along with them for a while. I can't say I prefer one over the other if I have the time and space. I will say I have three cats at present. They are working breeds and keep the pests under control including the rattlers.
I like both. I've had a Bulldog that hated my cats but later warmed up to them, had two dogs and they didn't mind my cats at all. Now I just have one new dog and the situation with him with my cats is that he's a hunting dog and that instinct takes over. It's gonna take a while before he even warms up to them.
I would say a cat but I am a bit allergic so it is a little annoying having one in the house though I love them. Dogs are great nevertheless.
