I'm a Capricorn and I can dance, most probably because my Gemini ascendant gives me flexibility and balance. My ascendant's influence makes me also more talkative and sociable than most Capricorns, even though I remain prude about talking about my emotions. Cappys are rational and Geminis are intellectual, so it's a good mix, even if they are extremly different.

I care a lot about looks too (my looks, not the other people's looks), like several of you mentioned. I love sweets, especially chocolate, seems like typical Capricorns are addicted to sugar. I'm passionate, an ex-lover told me I was like "fire under ice", boiling passion behind a cool outlook. I'm nice and tolerant but have no difficulty to tell someone to back off if they annoy me or get unrespectful.

Spinelli, I already dated a Scorpio and it was one of the most stable and fulfilling relationships I've ever been into. Sex was great too!

 

I'm a Cap & have been all of my life. So much depends upon other astrological aspects of your chart, though...for example, moon sign, rising/ascendent, all the planets and houses.

Generally, though, I've found Cap sun signs to be exceedingly passionate in their beliefs, dependable, sturdy and even stern, at the same time, avante garde and very off the beaten path - much like Aquarius, but far more goal-oriented and persistent. Aquarian tends to dream up the invention while Capricorn tends to take action and get the invention out there for sale.

From my own observations, I have to agree with whoever stated it: the strongest sign of the zodiac. Scorpio coming in second. Which is all debatable. IMO, I'd place Tauraus right up there towards the top as well.

Cap is a future-oriented sign, forever planning for the future. Oftentimes, this is carried too far, and they forget that the most well-planned plans for the future could end at the next intersection they pass through. They need to learn to live more in the now.

Cap is the only sign that gets younger as it gets older. Many a Cap will go through a teenage phase right after retirement.

The most unattractive feature: Work goes ahead of love. This sign, along with Virgo, factors into the charts of workaholics.

my dad and partner are both capricorns - they actually share the same birthday (albeit 28 years apart!) - would love to know freud's take on that one
i love them both though - strong, assertive masculine presence without being agressive - it takes a whole lot to get either of them to even raise their voice although if you give either of them a good enough reason to, especially when it comes to threatening/insulting someone they love, you'll see a pretty strong streak come out

i'm a taurus (with leo ascending and capricorn moon) and i think i'm pretty well matched to the capricorn in my life - we ground one another in different ways, and force one another outside of our comfort zones in others (ie, i'm a bit of a loose party animal at times, being so much a sensualist and wanting to always be social, my boy is more a stay at home with a spliff and some marley playing kinda guy - helps me behave myself sometimes and i help him let loose a bit more sometimes)

 

I've always considered myself to be a Cappy to the tee. But I can dance....although it's a recent development.

Oh shit I'm like that too. I have no difficulty to reply if someone tries to diss me, but it's nothing compared to what I could do or say when somebody insults or hurts someone I love. I become super agressive.

Yes Aries and Capricorn are cardinal. It means they are creative, innovative, excellent leaders.

I am a Capricorn and I am absolutely dying to meet a Scorpio to bone...no kidding these 2 are supposed to have out of this world attraction and sex.

I would say Aries and Capricorn, women of these 2 especially, are the strongest signs. Taurus is not up here because they are only physically strong; emotionally they are very immature and stuck in the past all the time, etc. etc. I could make an entire list about why they are weak. Then, yes, would be Scorpio as one of the strongest signs.

I indeed have been an old soul and get younger and more care free as the years go by!
