yeah me too!! if its reaally painful i wont want to make it any worse.. but sometimes i get this weird sort of cramp in the muscle beside my belly button?? haha its weird, and i keep pokin and it, but it makes it go away and with muscle pains and stuff like that, i'll keep tryin to move my muscle and loosin it up, so that it goes away pain where i nearly pass out?? god.. i dont think i even experienced that before or want to!
I know exactly how you feel I hate pain so when I’m occasionally inconvenienced by it I sometimes increase the pain since I have no way of alleviating it :bigcry: Hotwater
I do that to, it's weird, almost as though I'm trying to spite the pain. Every once in a while I'll get a sore muscle from using this machine at the gym and when it keeps pissing me off, being sore everyday, every once in awhile I flex it as hard as I can until it feels like it could separate. I figure since it won't get any better, at least I can provide temporary relief by making it temporarily worse. Also, if I've bit the inside of my cheek, I often purposely continue to bite down on it afterwards. I'm not someone that is into alot of pain or anything like that. It's just something I do. As Plant_Head said, it seems to be more of a compulsive thing.
you ain't weird... and i'm glad it's not because you need to numb :2thumbsup: the only way i can relate to that then, is when i get aching gums, i have to clench my teeth together harder... intensifies the pain but kinda soothes it at the same time... that kinda thing...
I like the way it burns when I use hand sanitizer (my hands are covered in cuts all the time, I work in the food industry, it happens).
I do that for emotional pain. It may seem like I feel pain because life's too hard, but it may well be that I experience pain when life is not hard enough.
eh, i kind of like it when my muscles are sore, and i do tend to flex them to the point of pain when it's going on, but i don't really think it's the same thing. i also pick at scabs compulsively, but i try to make it as painless as possible when i do it.
:2thumbsup: great minds think alike?... yes, sorry, sometimes i don't read all the thread or even a few back, i just post... it's a bad habit.... i must stop it... :bobby:
No, no. What I meant was that you said better what I was trying to say. I was having a harder time putting it into words
Well, if you were looking for serious replies, you've posted in the wrong forum. Health, or Mental Health might have been a better choice.
