not necessarily. sure, you have to pay for the weed itself, but once you have it, you can basically enjoy yourself in an empty room, whereas sober people generally end up paying for other forms of entertainment.

 

Weed is pretty damn cheap entertainment, compared to booze anyway.

depends on how you look at it. i spend about $225/month on weed. kinda expensive. but that's ~$7.50/day....not TOO much more than some people spend on coffee or diet coke each day....or cigs.

but i suppose that is just comparing one vice to another.

i pack my lunch for work everyday. that probably saves me at least $5/day, so there is my weed habit almost covered.

i don't have more than 12 channels on my TV, and i don't pay for a parking pass at work. now i just covered all of my weed habit, all of my other drug hobbies, and the cost of a new bike or two

 

People go to the bar and spend 20 bucks like it's nothing, a 20 sack of weed will last me almost a week by myself, but I usually end up smoking some of it with others, and they in turn smoke me up when I'm out. You know what they say,

"A friend with weed is a friend indeed!"

Yes, sometimes it is that easy I also always packed my own lunch, I even brought my own thermos of coffee to school (had to carry a bag anyway) because the coffee from the machine was not tasty and worth any money.. (it was 50 cents for a cup I think )
Also when I worked in shifts in some lousy factory I saw some of my collegues (almost all students like I was so we didn't make that much) spend often about a fourth of their daily wages on food in the breaks. I just brought everything from home They may have found me a cheapskate but things like that really pay off when you're consequent with it :sunny:

 

I enjoy a night at the bar as much as the next person but what I really enjoy is chilling with a bunch of people at somebody's crib. We do get kind of anal about who's turn it is to bring the weed sometimes but that's just because we are not rich It always turns out fine too. And a big plus: you can select your own tunes!

 

And many people pay for other forms of entertainment and weed.

Nothing against smoking, wish I could do it more, honestly. But I'm tight on the cash.

 

How does it affects you physically, YouFreeMe (if I may ask)? Do you get nauseous or something, or a headache?
