If these panels keep getting bigger and cheaper I may just use them instead of mylar for the damn walls in the grow area.

If weed becomes legal nationwide, I could see the major candy manufacturers like Hershey, Nestle, Mars, etc. getting in on the edibles market. You could get your favorite candy bar infused with THC!

 

For me, that it would be a Lion Bar.​

 

^^^ Packaging like that is one reason legalization isn't going to happen. A little kid isn't going to know that's not the regular snack, eat the whole package, end up in the hospital...

 

So, this is only semi-related, but Weed, California is currently burning... Several people injured, many homes destroyed. Fire started at a lumber mill and Cal Fire has named it the "Mill Fire"... Pretty sure it's still at 0% containment.

It would almost sound like a meme, if it weren't so tragic.

 

I've just checked and according to the latest news Weed is threatened by the Mill Fire but the town itself isn't burning yet. It could be soon, the fire is spreading fast!

I visited Weed once and only saw the downtown area, didn't think it was such a big town, but apparently there are a number of outlying neighborhoods.

"Weed Mayor Kim Greene said Saturday that most of the damage she is aware of was in the predominantly black neighborhoods of Lincoln Heights and Lake Shastina, with reports of 100 homes destroyed in Lincoln Heights."

A racist fire? Anyway the rest of the town is still under threat.

No munchies but the last I checked the fire is about 55% contained. Most of Weed has been spared but some sections were destroyed:

I'm high as fuck right now! Made some peanut butter cookies with a concoction that's about 1/3 keef and 2/3 trim. Seems I made them a little too potent. But nothing I can't handle.

So... This is the "new" thing in hemp world... (for those in illegal states, hemp and D8 are the only options) This has been going on for about a year, but it's new to me, I just placed an order.

Sunflower Diesel - 21% THCa - .6% CBGa - Indoor Hemp Flower.

By law (2018 Farm Bill) this hemp needs to be less than .3% D9 THC Hemp. (not "cannabis")... But note: THCa turns into THC when smoked. (or baked for edibles. That is what decarbing is all about) So the loophole, for now, is even though this is actual pot, it's legal because it's high THCa Hemp.... but it's still actual pot. As in D9 THCa... D8 THCa doesnt exist in the plant to hit 21%.

One thing about this is when a vendor drops a new batch it sells out in a day or two... You almost have to be on their mailing list to know, and it could already be sold out once you get to their site. It is apparently pretty popular.

 

So... Yeah. When I posted above I had ordered the Sunflower Diesel and some Runtz from one company and some Panther from another company. Both packages arrived today. (That was quick) The Panther company tossed in a gummy with the order.

The Panther is a 25% THCa, sativa... This is the stuff. I did three small hits, just a tiny piece of bud in my antler pipe... It's like magic. Really. I've never had the luxury of "strains" and "dispensary weed" before. This is as good as the "Chronic" I was getting back in 2002 in California. (which was early dispensary weed, but by time I got it brought to the mountains any strain name was gone... it was just "Chronic")

Very nice.

I haven't tried the other two yet... I want to differentiate between the three and figure out who I will be ordering from again. This stuff sells out quick, but other similar strains replace them at the same time. There are also other companies... so far the response time from these two is impressive. Nobody seems to sell half or full oz's. It's 1, 3.5, or 7 grams.
