    It was a ferry that crossed the Mersey.

    don't they understand the tourism value at least in keeping the old new? - just been watching the restoration of Queen Vic train carriage by hard working retirees - now they are ready for use!

    that is my history that is rotting - come on UK and da pool you can do better than that?
