Really? When was the Reform Party or the Canadian Alliance in power?

    Answer: NEVER.

Don't equate Mulroney with Harper. The Conservatives share a NAME and a NAME ALONE with that party. This group is fiscal conservatives from Alberta, not some Bay Street French Canadian whores.

You know why? Because no likes the suckers and their policies expect for a few nuts.

Therefore, I am right it is just the same old party that no one likes under a different name. :D

Ok do not equate Bob Rae with Jack too. Rae's group was incompetent. Jack's group is economical fiscal and socially progressive.

I didn't even get to vote this year. Kinda made me sad, even though I know it would'nt have made a difference. Had way too much shit going on, and I didn't even find out until like, the day before the election, that it was happening. Fuuuck.

Should we compare Ralph Klein and Brian Mulroney with Harper?

I don't understand who IronGoth is trying to convert in this forum...

Most of Western Canada, basically, and much of Ontario. Of course, the Auto Pact hanger on set in Morontario disagrees..... sigh

But hey, go ahead and call much of the country "nuts". Turdeau did and so did Cretin. Just don't be surprised if one day America gains a new state and suddenly Canada's breadwinner is gone.

Noone likes? You mean, the one that got elected? And in some ridings, there was 104-108% turnout and strangely the "extra" votes were Liberal?

Socially progressive = no tax cuts (great, Jack. Continue hogtying business), enforced benefits for any two people who want to call themselves married, hey, let's have as a party member an unglued NAMBLAite thief, etc. That is NOT economically fiscal.

Economically fiscal = we pave the roads, run the hospitals and jails, for anything else you're on your OWN

You need to get your facts straight.
The new conservative party merged for a reason, to be able get enough votes. This election they only got 36.3% of the popular vote and most of the new seats they gained weren't a vote for them but it was a vote against the liberals. Think of it as Canadians punishing the liberals and giving them a break to rebuild.

Why are you such ignorant? Why are most conservatives such ignorant bricks?

What world do you live in? They had to change their name and their agenda to get elected. Do you honestly think what they were campaigning is a conservative platform? Wait why the heck am I asking you? You are an idiot. I guess you don't know of the massive NDP gains.

wow, are you a high school student or something?
Economically fiscal is when your liabilities don't exceed your assets.

Typical uneducated conservatives always thinking they know what they are talking about when they know shit.

No tax cuts? The NDP budget change included the small-business tax cuts.

They merged cause they were fractured, but the new party is in essence Reform, not Tory. THANK GOD. We needed Reform.

Why am I such ignorant? Hi doan no. Why no you can speaka English?

What fundamentally changed about Reform? Not much. The Tories had to make a choice. The Red Tories went Liberal, and the true Reformers joined the Conservatives.

Yeah, up to 24 seats. Wow. Go NDP, you'll be a majority next time. And yeah, I do believe the Conservatives were running a conservative platform. Fiscally sensible, dealing with security and real priorities like health care, not Adscams and fountains in rivers and some UTTERLY USELESS GUN REGISTRY.

Dude, those assets are OURS, not THEIRS.
I was tired of taxes going up and up and services getting cut and cut. I wanted big tax cuts and equal representation in the country, not more gouging for some fatcats in Sucking Central.

Typical asshole ad hominem liberal attack.

29, actually, with another 15 within 1500 votes.

Conservatives do well to remember third-parties (ie: Progressive Party, 1926). The Three Day Conservative Prime Minister.

I voted Liberal. And was heartbroken when the Conservatives one.

None of the parties represent me well, but Liberals are the best of the lot. And that ain't saying much.
