Did anyone else go see them play at the Civic Centre in Ottawa on Grey Cup Weekend? They were awesome!

Dakona is good too...they are from BC. Sort of an alt-rock band. They played at my frosh last year and then I saw them again when they came back to my university in the fall. You should sheck them out!

Glad to see someone included The Tragically Hip in there somewhere.

Gord Downie and the boys are makin' a comeback w/ their new stuff.
Their ultimate best was the Tragically Hip: Live Between Us concert album.

Seriously. spark a spliff, bark the fifth, sit back and let the sound of that
    album part your hair.

I wanted to go to the London show, but I live 6 hours away.
Knew 3 friends that were there. and if you go to thehip.com there's a link to where you can download/buy the london show for 10 bucks. i'm gonna do it.

Yeah. Day for Night, loud , a two-four of blue and a saturday afternoon in the dorm.

    The Arcade Fire
    Godspeed You Black Emperor

Mahogany frog does rock! I grew up with those kids. Another awsome band from saskatoon The Cracker Cats, all girl blue grass folk. Rant music is very good. Wasabi Collective from out west are really really awesome. Ember Swift rawks very ani-ish. The Jimmy Swift Band, very cool.
