4 Men Linked To Carjacking, Shooting, Robbery 1 hour, 40 minutes ago



Four men are accused of a crime spree in Deer Park that involved a carjacking, shooting and robbery at two locations, officials told KPRC Local 2.

Police said it began when the group tried to rob a man and woman at the Deer Park Village Apartments, located in the 7200 block of Spencer Highway at Center Street at about 12:30 a.m. Wednesday. The robbers turned violent and shot the man when a language barrier caused problems communicating, according to officials.


"They asked her for money and she said, 'We don't have any money' and he shoots with the gun -- two times. When they (shot) the gun, she just run, run, ask for help and he was on the floor crying, saying, 'I'm going to die' 'cause he had a lot of blood and everything. She was so scared," said Cynthia Arocna, the victim's friend.

The gunmen took off in the victim's car, which was found abandoned nearby at an apartment complex in the 6500 block of Spencer Highway in Pasadena.

Police said the vehicle matched the description of a car used to rob a truck stop a short time after the carjacking.

Investigators are looking for the gunmen.

The victim's condition was not released.

The people and the press love a good self defense story.They love it when the common man gets back at the bad guy.They're just not there in the same numbers as an illegal shooting.You give me one story,i'll give you two in return,if not three or four.
Of course anybody who uses a gun illegally is a criminal and has violent tendencies.The two go hand in hand.If they could find the guy who actually gave the felons the guns,they would arrest him.The name of the supplier the felon got the gun from is usually stamped on the gun.There lies final responsibility.

Followed the stories i could.Most were old or about old cases.Give me the dates or a link of the incident.One that was current the woman was saved by her dogs after her ex held her at gunpoint.Goes to show you're much better off with a dog.Well,maybe not my dog.She's about worthless.

LANSING, Mich. A state House committee has approved bills that supporters say would improve self-defense rights in Michigan.

A key legal argument contained in the legislation is a presumption that someone who forcibly enters a home or a vehicle intends to harm the occupant. The legislation would eliminate a requirement that people being attacked must retreat before responding.

The bills would allow people who feel threatened, in their homes or in a public area under certain circumstances, to defend themselves and use deadly force without facing criminal or civil prosecution.

The law would cover only people who are not committing crimes and are in a place they legally have a right to be.

Opponents say the bills are not needed and could lead to more violence.

Officers said a 46-year-old man living at 1216 Groesbeck Road got into an argument with four teenagers in his yard just after midnight.

Investigators said three of the teens pulled out guns and shot the man at least once in the abdomen.

The man was transported to University Hospital. His name and condition have not been released.

Anyone with information is asked to call CrimeStoppers at (513) 352-3040. Callers can remain anonymous and could receive a reward

Boston police were still on the scene of a Mattapan shooting Wednesday morning that left one person dead and another injured.

Investigators said at one point overnight a SWAT team was called in to search the multi-family house at 11 Clarkwood Street where residents were evacuated as a safety precaution.

NewsCenter 5's Gail Huff reported that when police first arrived it looked like a hostage situation, so negotiators and SWAT officers were brought in from the police station only a few blocks away.

"At about 12:40 this morning officers from [precinct B3] responded to 11 Clarkwood Street on report of a shooting. Upon arrival they found two victims were were transported to local hospitals," Boston Police Supt. Robert Dunford said.

One of the victims died early Wednesday. The condition of the other victim has not been released.

Because police were not sure whether the gunman was still inside the house, they surrounded it.

"Hostage negotiators from the Boston Police Department were called in, along with our entry team. The negotiators were able to evacuate everyone from the house," Dunford said.

Among those evacuated were some children. A young boy was taken into protective custody by police. One man who was evacuated was questioned by police, then handcuffed and put in a cruiser. Members of the SWAT team then entered the residence and searched for other occupants. After two devices were detonated inside, they determined the house was empty. Police were not certain whether the gunman was still at large.

"Homicide is on scene, along with the district attorneys and ... it's an active investigation," Dunford said.

A 5-year-old Tempe boy died Thursday afternoon after being pulled from a murky swimming pool.

Police said an old fence around family home's backyard pool was removed last week, and there were materials in the carport to build a new fence, which the boy's father planned to work on in the coming days.

The boy's father reported him missing from the home near Hardy and Minton drives after he had not seen the boy for about 30 minutes. advertisement




Police went into the backyard and began poking around the swimming pool with a pool tool, finding the child. They pulled the child from the pool and began CPR.

The boy was identified as Kenan Cerimagic.

The family is Bosnian and word spread quickly Thursday through the tight-knit Bosnian community.

I pulled a pool on a man once, fortuantly i put it away. It was over something stupid, thank god i didnt throw my life away. I was scared, he had a hot tub in his pocket, and was about to use it on me.

Thankfully no one was hurt.

Why should you? Join a shooting club. Even if you are strong enough(read able to control your animal inside of you) even then you are supporting the whole gun movement by buying it. Do you want to support weapons in our world? I hope you will think about it twice before you buy the piece.

One misconception about Hippies is that there is are rules set in stone on how to be a "proper" Hippie. A person can dress like a conservative and still be a Hippie. I for one do not smoke pot, but I am still a Hippie. If you want to own a gun, have at it. *shrugs*
