and these criminals are manufacturing all these illegal weapons.Where else would they come from.Certainly not from a law abiding manufacturer. That wouldn't make sense.
Friday, April 14, 2006 12:13 PM CDT Comments (0) Three shootings reported overnight By JEFF REINITZ, Courier Staff Writer WATERLOO --- Waterloo police investigated three shootings late Thursday and early today. By sunrise, two people were behind bars on weapons charges, and investigators were searching for other suspects including two gunmen who shot through a door while trying to rob a string of apartments. No one was shot in any of the episodes, but a man was hit in the face with a bottle during one of the arguments that escalated into gunfire, said Capt. Bruce Arends of the Waterloo Police Department. Here's a rundown on the shootings. ADVERTISEMENT HOW TO ADVERTISE » MARKETPLACE » --- The first attack happened at about 5:45 p.m. in the area of Oneida and Manson streets. Arends said it started with an argument outside, and as some of the people involved began to drive off, someone on foot opened fire at the departing vehicle. After the vehicle fled, 16-year-old Tawana Lashay Henderson told the unidentified gunman "you have to shoot her" and pointed to a 15-year-old girl in the crowd, records state. Henderson then grabbed the handgun and ran toward the crowd but didn't shoot, Arends said. Henderson, who lives at 211 Manson St., was arrested for going armed with intent. She is being charged as an adult, he said. --- The second shooting came as two masked men went door-to-door trying to rob apartments at 1423 Franklin St. about 12:15 a.m. today. The robbers started by forcing open the door to Jack Fuse's apartment. They demanded money but left when Fuse told them he didn't have any money, Arends said. Their next stop was Sharnella Jones' apartment. When they entered, Jones and her brother, Troy Jones, barricaded themselves inside a bedroom. The robbers fired two shots through the door and then fled, Arends said. The bullets missed their mark, and police found two .380-caliber spend shells. --- In the third assault, Kenneth Lavelle Hampton, 27, of Chicago, was arrested for intimidation with a weapon following an argument outside a party at 815 Grant Ave. at 12:40 a.m. Hampton was involved in an argument with Eurey Williams outside the home, and Williams was struck in the face with a bottle, Arends said. Hampton then ran inside the house and returned with a pistol. He began firing while Williams was only a few feet away. Two bullets struck a garage, police said. When officers showed up, Hampton ran back inside the home and then crawled out a window. He was captured a short distance away.
I hear machine gun fire outside is terrible here. on the way to the store i step on several dead bodies. once i reach the store the clerk was dead so i left 65 cent for the soda . as i walk thru the gas station several dead people by the gas pump so i was nice enough and turn the vehicles engine off i hate to see gas being wasted. i stop at radio shack only to find everyone inside was dead and spent cases allover the floor . But the DVD and 1 tv was still on . i stay for 30 minutes but got bored. so i decided to get a 1/4 whooper but hell the girl at the drive thru was allready dead but she was still gripping a 1/4 whooper and soda so i gave her the money "did not needed much change back " i figure some relative could used it for funeral expense. then just about i was to turn in my block when a cop chasing a ladie who just jay walk almost push me into the moving traffic . shhh that was a close 1.
probably happens fairly often. Why not, they own business and carry cash. They just keep a clean record until the time comes. Not a big deal.
Supposedly there's a border check between us and Mexico.Sure stuff gets across, but it's not open like D.C. and adjoining states.i didn't say there was no reason for the study. It would be interesting.
If i manufacture meth and only sell it to adults,i'm still responsible for the kids that use my product. They're the ones creating the problem.
1.It was given to me. 2.I didn't have to,he knew. 3.careless like a million other gun owners. 4.the thing was so old i was afraid it'd fall apart in my hand. 5.gave it back
The same way that cigarette manufacturers are responsible for underage smoking. It's a large part of their market. If i knew that a large percentage of my knives were being used improperly, yes. Many knifes are already banned. The manufacturers know there is a problem, yet they ignore it.There is the Remington house in San Jose. She believed as long as she kept building on the house the ghosts of those killed by remington rifles would leave her alone.
The closer one gets to NE Arkansas the better your argument.the closer one gets to D.C..Los Angeles the better my argument. If there's a problem,it can usually be traced to a metropolitan area.D.C.is bad now but perhaps it was worse before.i too would like to see a study.Where there is not a problem,N.E. Arkansas, nobody's going to really mess with you anyway. Most places are that way though,if you keep your nose out of shit, shit won't follow you.
a quality guns does not degrade into a unsafe weapon maybe long after maybe 10 difrent owners had it for theyr full life. another words guns that were built before the 19 century are still safe "old colts and mauser rifles" as a sample.
