oh I know.. it's just we've been great lately.. I don't get what his issue is.. he was recently diagnosed with diabetes and I know when his sugar gets high he turns into an ass.. so maybe that was it.. i dunno.. but I really don't think I deserved all that last night... he told me I'm a waste....

take the baby and run. this guy reminds me of my first ex. as soon as i married him and had a baby he became mr white glove inspector. he would come home from work and bitch about dirty dishes in the sink and say things like 'you have nothing else to do all day'. meanwhile i went over six months without ever having more than two hours of sleep around the clock because the baby nursed that often. i had to sleep whenever that baby would let me! big hint hon - he's showing who he really is now. it's not gonna get better. only worse. get out while you still can.

it's cool.. he didn't leave me with the baby.. he left the house.. lol.. he came back home last night he just wont talk to me..

and he has two kids... this is not his first baby.. so the whole idea of him just freakin doesn't really apply here...

Oh yeah, sugar levels can definitely mess with a person and how they react to things, so that could be a reason why he's acting the way he is. Is he on insulin or anything to help control his sugar? Or a restricted diet?

Diabetes runs in my family and I've seen firsthand how nasty some of them can get when their sugar is too high.

Well, your judgment in guys doesn't speak for anything in the big scheme of things. Don't even pretend like it does. So those guys aren't a good sample of the male population as a whole, obviously anyone SHOULD be able to see that. it just means you need to learn from your mistakes and choose better people.

You can hide behind laughter but it is just that, laughter. Confront the situation.

 

i don't get why they get that way when their sugar is high tho... I get pms and to him it's no excuse to have an attitude lol..

 

All new parents get frustrated and a little crazy sometimes. The stress builds up until it gets to you. All my friends went through that.

he really is a good guy I don't want anyone to think he's not.. he does treat me and the baby real good for the most part.. I'm just hurting..
he works so much.. so he's never really home and I'm here ALL day wishing he was here.. then he comes home in a bad mood.. he says his day is stressful well I'd like him to know what it feels like to be the girl sitting at home waiting like a damn puppy dog only for him to walk right by me with no kiss and get right to getting down on me for takin a nap cuz I was in a bad mood and I was tired.. he seems to think just cuz I'm home with the baby all day I have no reason to be tired lol.. ok sure buddy.. lol

 

I've been fortunate enough to be on both sides of this situation....

yes staying at home with baby is hard, tiring, and can be stressful but so is working full time trying to support your family (and in his case managing an illness which he's not yet accustomed to)

you need to find some outlets/hobbies/etc to put your excessive energy into, and not rely on him to make you happy....

he needs to realize how easy it is to get depressed in your situation, he needs to see that you might require a little extra attention and sensitivity...

and you need to realize how hard it is to be the sole bread winner for a family in these troubled times...

compromise is key!!

the fact that he'd so easily bail over a nap has to scream volumes to you about the current state of your relationship.

maybe it's time to re-evaluate a few things?!

 

i think a nice dinner with a long BJ for dessert would make this situation all better
