because the has been more terrorist attacks since the invasion of iraq than before. even the head of mi5 once said the threat from terrorist is far more real and severe. now than it was before the war in iraq.

Just because the Koran contains such sentences does not mean people in Africa go on a killing spree like they do for no reason other than that they are followers of Islam. What I said still stands. They are triggered not solely because they are muslims that read the Koran. It is very easy to connect the dots, hey they are doing these things, and hey it is written they can do so to infidels in their holy book. Well, they also kill lots of people that are not unbelievers/infidels at all. How do you connect the dots to that for example?

Never sell the French short. They have some really tough guys. I know the Nazis made short work of them in WWII. But the French made short work of the Germans in the Napoleionic wars. You are not selling them short or not by default, it just seems completely besides the point here. Just like the USA wasn't able to stop all terrorist attacks from happening in their country, the same counts for any country (for Germany just as much as France, USA, Spain, UK. etc.). I reckon you are just playing with the age old joke about the french that can not defend themselves. Misplaced and off topic in this current thread obviously.

 

Its not really a no brainer though. Its a very nuanced issue. For example? Why are they attacking in the first place - why do they choose the targets they do? And what does western retaliation do to the mindset of the innocent civilians involved? When jihadists are recruiting do you think they purposely seek out people who have been harmed in some way by western retaliation? And when western countries retaliate, is it always strictly retaliation or like America's war in Iraq is it for a completely different reason and is the terrorist attack just used an excuse? Also when you consider all the terrorists attacks in the past couple of decades is it possible the terrorists thought they themselves were retaliating for something the west did?

 

Iminsul is a cheerleader for the monster faction of islam and I do assume he or she is one of said monsters. People are fighting back. The Kurds and those Camaroonians are kicking ass.

 

Camaroonians are Africans and the Kurds are the Kurds. NOT jihadis. They are peoples successfully defending themselves from jihadis.

 

You are aware Kurds are fighting with their own motives right. They never got their own country and were always oppressed.
