From Mass (Southwick, Granville, Westfield). Now In San Franicisco. Massachusetts is a great place to be FROM, never to return

I am from MA! A little town called Pembroke, like 20 mins. from plymouth.

I'm originally from the People's Republic of Cambridge .. but for the past 5 years I've been living in West Virginia where the weather is warm, the winters are short, everything is 60-70% cheaper (sounds good so far doesn't it ... wait for it...) BUT most of the population is right wing wingnut Rethuglican Fundie NRA-supporting redneck.

Yeah, I miss Harvard Sq, the T, the Red Sox, etc.. but at least my wife and I have the distinction of being the only hippies in town.

We've REALLY kept a low profile too, painting the house BRIGHT teal, putting ying yang and buddha statues in the front yard (and illuminating them at night) and ditching the obligatory lawn for a zen crushed rock garden (ever have 2 tons of crushed rock delivered to your door?)

Well, at least I can read the Globe and the Herald online for news back "home" in Massachusetts!

I'm in Quincy, holding down the fort while that other guy's up in Maine. Moved here recently from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, having moved there from the Empire State, New York. Beantown's pretty cool, too bad I don't know anyone here.

originally from ashland, went to school in north adams, now living in gloucester. doesn't really get more mass than that.

 

I was born and raised in southern NH (Salem), then moved to IL when I was 14 and now I'm at school in Boston. I'm so glad to be back home.

 

Hey everyone. I'm originally from Fitchburg, MA. Currently living in Charlotte, NC. But I can't seem to shake the yankee in me so I'm moving back. I'll be replanting myself in Whitinsville, MA in January. Cannot wait to be back among the land of massholes !!!
