its okay, she digs Wally the Green Monster mascot for the Red Sox, so that should keep her interested somewhat when watching my beloved bosox. plus, I don't think I've had a better time watching a football game in my life than being alone with lynsey watching the Patriots - Colts playoff game this year
interesting... i dont' find her attractive in the least... and my stepmom used to bodybuild.... but she never got that big.. just big into working out... did you know pamela anderson originally wanted to body build?
I'm far from a chauvinist, but I can see how some people might think I am when I admit to holding women to a higher standard of etiquet then I do men.
it doesn't bother me that much, as long as the person isn't using a "swear" every few words in a conversation. then i get really annoyed, because there better suited words than dropping a "fuck" every sentence. that goes for both sexes. i know i "swear" alot, but its not to the point were its excessive.
I hardly ever swear in public. Sometimes I do but it's rare. When I'm pissed off I might let out a fuck or two. Years ago when I was only dating my husband I had a mouth on me. One day Bill said he couldn't understand how someone so lil' and petite could talk like a trucker. I think it was from that moment on I curbed my vocals.
Swearing period annoys me. Ocassionally yes, there's a need for it - cos if you don't use it all the time, it's got that amount of shock that gets the job done. But personally if you swear a lot, I'm bound to simply think you're a moron who never went to school or learned to read because your vocabulary is so very small. The other thing is, I've found that people who swear a lot can't turn it off, even though they say they don't swear in front of [blank] (kids, the elderly, nuns, whathaveyou) and that's just annoying too. To the original question, I suppose it does make you a bit of a chauvanist, because it bothered you about women more than it would men... but everyone here has a double-standard about SOMETHING, I don't care what they say lol So yes - swearing is bad, and so are double-standards. The End!
