I know this is an old post but I am as late as The Rabbit...sooo
I hang out in Haight up on Hippie Hill at Golden Gate Park and groove to the
drum circle...I use to hang up in the trees way back till we learned
enviromentalism but now the ground is safer I suppose. :p
If anyone wants to come hang out and trip out at the park?, bah darn curfew..
I would want to stay overnight if I did that though..LOL
Still if anyone wants to hear stories around a drum circle
I am around....I can use Fairy Dust and *PooF* you will be here..
    just let me know.

Aww,, Sorry I came back here late...:-(
Always another time....I hope its not too windy/cold in the city though.
IM, MSG or Email me sometime.
I see someone said Farmer's Market? Is this the one in SB or in LA?
As I use to hang at Farmer's Market in LA, it was my exclusive place to
panhandle and get food too back in the 60's. And late at night it was a fun place to play also LOL. That is the difference between nowadays and back then...we were up and on the streets all night, but as far as nowadays that would be very rare and dangerous.

It's alright. I had a lot of fun. I was mainly looking for some rags for a halloween costume; went to goodwill & such. I got a kickass vest too & ate at cha cha cha's, esp. because it wasn't my tab! Went & checked out Berkely too because I might apply there next yr.

The weather was actually pretty damn hot for san fran. lovely tho.

I might be going up again because I'm a huge Janis fan & hopefulyl I can scrounge some money together for Love, Janis!:)

The farmers she & I were talking about is in SLO; definitely a lot smaller than LA or SB!! I've been to the SB one a few times. There's a few smaller ones locally too.

see ya on the flip side!

We enjoyed a nice lil vacation in Santa Barbara, hung out at the pier and beaches. visited the Presido.
The Mission was a nice and a spritual place to visit.
For Northeasters, the Spanish Archichture is always inspiring.

We climbed to the top of City Hall. The Chappel had beautiful murals.
We were there in September, fires were burning in the hills behind the city, everything was smoky.

My real estate is very expensive there in Santa Barbara.
Lots of hip people. Nice shopping walking the boulevards.

We drove through Box Canyon in LA. it looked very hippy-ish or commune-ish
my cousin said that Box Canyon is where Charles Manson had his settlement.
Anybody got any Box Canyon stories?

City walks alright. They have this one shop where they sell these really cool neon glow in the dark pictures of mushrooms and butterflies. Cool to look at when your really blowed. Bubbas is fun but the best thing at the beach is the beach its self. All I need is some waves & budd and I'll be cool.:)

Channel Islands are just a stone's throw away. The most accessible and famous,is Santa Catalina.I like Avalon. There's a tiny man-made Balboa Island between the Balboa Peninsula and Pacific Coast Highway in Newport Beach.

Have been to Cambria and wouldn't mind owning property up there. But then again I wouldn't mind having a roll of 50s that would choke a horse, either.
