yeah mcd and the other large food chains have there oil collected but the small ones like the place i worked at which was in a gas station of all places ...simply chucked it or poured it down the drain so did a few other small cafes in town they just did not care ...they were done with it....

and pretty much every product in our world is in some way tied to fossil fuels...from the food you eat to the clothes on your back...from computers to even solar panels....there is no escaping it, well besides hiding in the woods buck naked...lol......just reducing our use and ties to it is all we can do now.....

yeah so true...using waste oil to make biodiesel from small producers has far more benifeits once it is in demand and waste oil can not handle the oil supply needed it loses all its appeal ......biodiesel should only be one of many alternatives used not the only one......its more a need to change our society then to just find another fuel source....

i think that goes with the territory when humans believe in something strongly weather its for peresonal gain or to "help" society....from religions to even beer
