At any rate, were did you get that misguided notion....that he was bashing her? He wasn't bashing her at all, merely pointing out the fact that Cheney has a gay daughter and Cheney still won't support gay marriage or civil unions, he wants to amend the constitution to ban it. He supports Bush's plan to ban gay marriage.

 

Well Bush seems to be opposed to both, and this is definitly an issue Bush flipped on, before it starting making headlines, Bush was in favour of letting states decide, then he wanted an amendment, then a few days ago he said states should have a right to decide. I know for a fact Chenney a few months ago said it should be up to states.

 

The gay mirrage issue is just pre-election pandering to get votes. IT has always been up to the states, and it's doubtful that no real effort (besides a recent half-assed one) will be made for or against it after the elections.

But if you want dirt on the candidates, it is all over the politics, and america attacks forums.

 

Ever heard of a search engine? Or a newspaper? Hell, I don't do my own children's homework, I am not doing yours.

Do some research. Damn, you will be voting in 3 years get your little butt in gear. My 12 and 16 yr old kids know about politics! And my 18 year old is looking forward to her first vote, and knows all about the system. Even my 5 year old baby know the difference between the RIght and the Left. ("Republicans are evil, right mama?" LOL!)

 

The only people who think Kerry's comment was an insult are people who think being gay is wrong. Kerry was being sensitive. He wasn't bashing Mary. But, damn, Lynn Cheney is one brutal womyn. I think she really has more problems with the lesbian issue than "Dick" does. He seems to have a resigned acceptance of it, Lynn seems to want people to forget it.

 

i dont think he should have brought anyones family into that..it was inapropiate at all costs and the fact that they are bring personal issues into the debate was just wrong..expecally since dicks job has nothing to do with his family..its not like you go into work and if your kid does something bad you will get fired..
