Its so hot upstairs in my work room here at work that i cant breath up there. If something breaks down it will have to wait an hour before i work on it so everything can cool off.
5C you call that winter? Please.... The earth is tilted and the light of the sun shines more directly on the northern hemisphere in the summer. Picture shining a flashlight directly at the top of your head then directly at the bottom of your head. It will be hotter wherever you shine the light.
It has been pretty pleasant here this summer. It has been muggy the past few days but it still didn't top 90f. Last weekend was absolutely the most perfect weather I can ever remember in July, mid 80s and really low humidity. I keep comparing this to two summers ago when I went up north for a couple of weeks and came back and stepped out of the airport to a delightful 105 degree day. Ugh I love summer as long as the humidity stays low, which is really is a rarity here, and the temp stays below 93 or 94. 95 is my threshold, anything higher than that and I start making plans to move to Canada and learn celcius
It's been hot here but I don't mind because nearly everywhere I go is air conditioned and my house is an my cars, except the old one. Some people here get miserable when it's really hot, me I stay indoors and enjoy the cooler temps till evening. I like to sit out in my yard lots but under the covered areas and more in the late afternoon and evening. We have great beaches here as well and when I plan on going out where it's gonna be hot I don't mind it at all. We also have well treed parks and bird sanctuaries we can walk through.
Was a warm one here, had AC on in the house and the cars. The only problem is going from the house to the car dammit! But really not too bad. I can take it, some complain. I kinda love the heat.
:sunny: Happily lots of people like it as well. Seems it is more controversial than I thought (didn't think it would be an annoyance at all really) But although I already liked it a lot myself I grow fond of it even more
