    it's 7:45AM and we are already over 20C. Apropos crematorium, I live near a cemetery. The people attending the furnerals doesn't look too happy in their black suits and dresses at the moment.

    If it would be all summer like this I still wouldn't complain. Maybe if it was every summer like this I would nag on this weather but now it is pure bliss. Well, as long one is in a position to enjoy it of course.

    It would be slightly too hot to enjoy a music fest on an open field all day for example (better have some trees or clouds) :p

    Speaking of hot, does anyone else remember the Midwest heatwave of 1995?

    I was driving through the Illinois and I remember hearing the reports from Chicago about residents dying by the dozens in their homes and apartments. The temps throughout august ranged from 102-106 and out of the 700 or so deaths, at least 40 bodies went unclaimed.

    The bodies that went unclaimed were buried in a mass grave.
