Bringing a pipe back to the US?

    That could work too. Although I wouldn't be surprised if a dog could smell pass that, and it'd be mighty embarrassing to get a body cavity search.

    If you want to get elaborate...

    Dig a hole in a jar of peanut butter, stick the pipe in a baggie, stick the baggie in the jar, then cover it over and close the jar. Then put the jar in a baggie. Put that baggie in another baggie with a bunch of bug spray and cleaning products sprayed in. Then repeat with another 1-14 baggies. Don't forget to wear latex gloves and put on fresh ones in between steps to make sure you don't transfer any particles.

    If that doesn't do it, then it's not possible.

    when going thru customs on my way back from the bahamas I didnt see a single dog. So if you just carried it on you itd be strait.

    dude there's no way you're gonna get caught with such a small pipe just do as you said (clean and smoke tobacco in it, repeat several times) and stick it in your pocket making sure you dont have any metal objects on you or if you wanna be super safe just do the peanut butter thing. That's what I used to bring 8 grams of hash with me from Egypt to Italy and it worked perfectly.
    Dont give it too much importance ,cops got way more important stuff to take care of...
