I always knew about them but just started REALLY listening to them this week.
I enjoy their psychedelic beats and their lyrics are very meaningful.

 

I really like the lyrics for "Ripple". Also, "Uncle John's Band" is catchy, but I don't care for some of the language!

Right now, "Fire on the Mountain" comes to mind because I live in southern California!

 

Picked up this one earlier in the week.



Very cool stuff on this album. It has previously unreleased live tracks that are perfect studio quality. It has a Hey Jude rendition on it. lol.

I like Fire on the Mountain and Ripple and stuff, but also Althea is pretty cool. Really like this song, and it's on there too.

 

Love this song... warm day, driving with the windows down and nowhere to go... this is the song of choice

There is now a cover band called 'bring out yer dead.' They formed in 2019.

Hmm i wonder where they got that idead from.

On shakedown in new york there was a guy going around shouting "bring out your dead."

I like to think that I helped to popularize this meme. But obviously orison is the original author.
