if you can look at a cat and see it as a person and still find humor in people throwing each other around, well there you go.

desensitization is all kinds of a bad idea. at the same time, as hienline pointed out, the essence of humor is the pratfall. the jury is still out on how i feel about it.

how essential is humor? i don't know.
how essential is not screwing up the kind of world we all have to live in?
that i do know.

that has to come first, because that is all there is for all of us to live in.
