I used to smoke marijuana. Cigarettes, too- all kinds from djarums to biddies. Quit the tobacco habit and smoking pot. I just eat marijauna now with my food. Its healthier in many ways. Anyway, smoke is smoke and all smoke from burning plants contains tars which are carcinogens. Just the same the cannabinoids in marijuana probably do reduce some cancer risks but maybe not when faced with all those tars.

Found these two references on google that might be helpful:

What I find sort of humorous about this thread....if in fact marijuana did cause brain tumors, or so people thought, then why would so many cancer patients be given scripts to medicate with it?

    *blows kiss too*

Budbill and slinkey, Found that image one night when doing a google search. I can't remember what the URL is. I suppose I could try to find it again. I don't know who it is except that its an old photo. I'm guessing pre-1940's in India.

I saw the photo and felt some kind of wierd connection with him. He loves his garden of sacred plants. I'd love to be smoking with him, too., or maybe just sharing a big bowl of hash salad.

I found another photo recently of a woman, probably late 1800's judging from her clothing, in a garden with her cat and two marijuana plants. I'll be putting that one in my gallery soon and couple other old prints I've found.

It is funny that people are using marijuana to treat cancer yet there are people writing here worried that it might cause cancer. I got a good laugh out of it too.

What? You've never felt a connection before? Look at this way: I'm standing in my patch of herb one day late last summer holding their stems in my hands, getting sticky resin all over them. I'm in deep concentration, thinking about what the harvest will be like, figuring how many more days before I cut them down, and how great its going to be when the new crop is turned into high quality ganja. Then that night I find this image of a man from way back in the past and doing just what I was. He's lost in thought about his plants. One thing I like about that photo is that he's not the least bit worried about getting busted because the reefer madness hasn't spread out of the US and made it to his country yet.

Even the background of the photo looks a lot like my garden which is surrounded by a tall hedge.

Cannabinoids in marijuana not only help with Parkinson's they're anti-oxidants, too, and so it actually PRESERVES brain cells from damage. And the DEA still says its of no medical value.

I think it should be recognized as a part of a healthy breakfast.

^ not true, but i recently got anlightened on how microwaves work, and it terrifies the shit out of me. i wish i could have the thing thrown out, but my mum insists she needs it for defrosting and shit like that.

MW actually heat up the water in cells, killing the cell, so the food u micro, is basicly cell-less, thus the weird taste. ur eating something that only exists because of the remains and textures. fucking :puke:
also if you managed to get ur hand in there and the thing to start, u would be fucked after a few seconds, not feeling effects straigh away, but fairly quickly.

generally gamma rays have alot to do with cancer, light doses cause cancer, high doses kill cancer along with other, some pretty vital cells/tissue. now i hear many things emit really light gamma, and our skin shhields us from it, and it would be most dangerous from the inside, like a tank- u destroy it by fragging the inside, so yea, swallow something just the smallest bit radioactive, u will get worse than someone who lived 3-5km away from chernobyl

People can be so feeble-minded. What can I tell you.

Just don't microwave seran wrap or tupperware and you'll be alright, so far as we know. Look into alot of the Johns-Hopkins University studies.

Latest "non-lethal" weapon our gov't is developing for crowd control is a microwave gun. It won't kill you just hurts like hell. How considerate.

i saw that too, it heats you up till u let go off ur weapon, without causing any real damage. thats what they say about everything, but the truth is 20years of therapist treatment wont sort out the trauma

Its supposed to make the moisture just under your skin boil or at least get close to it. Whoever devised that machine must be insane. What if the crowd is so large people can't run away fast enough? I wonder what sort of damage will be caused. Of course we all know about rubber bullets and wood bullets. They're non-lethal too unless you get hit square in the head.

Maybe a ray gun like that would be good against rampaging vote stealers from the Gas, Oil, & Petroleum party. Should calm them a bit.

Yeah, I've heard it, but from ignorant people who craft groundless "facts" in their heads to support the dumbfuck opinions they've developed due to years of propaganda, conditioning, and a lack of brain activity.

And why the fuck would breakfast give you cancer? You're starting to piss me off.
