That's really interesting, I've never thought of it like that, and I've never made a conscious decision to do what you describe. Most of the time I seek to interact with you based on sudden impulses I don't really understand, but I always made it out to be because of my own stagnation, and me simply trying to cling to a perceived higher awareness in order to advance the growth of my own. But maybe things work in more ways than one.
Yes, one occurrence happening on multiple levels simultaneously. I've often found the degree of the synchronicity between our correspondence and my own states of consciousness to be uncanny. I have a way of establishing "psychic bonds" of sorts with people, which is something I'm fairly sure happened between you and me somewhere along the line. I never got the impression the impulse to interact with me was in essence a conscious decision on your part though -- I had always attributed it to your Piscean nature. Travis
The more conscious awareness you cultivate, the less susceptible you will be to subconscious psychic impulses. You may detect them, but you will have a greater capacity to distinguish between foreign energetic influences as opposed to those originating from within you. Ultimately, you may find yourself being used as an "instrument" of the universe in much the same way you do now, but you will not feel confined or stifled by that role. Your free will can be found by being willing to consciously align yourself with the higher order of the universe. Travis
I come to random thoughts for cheap laughs and to ward off boredom. Actual serious discussions on consciousness are not welcome as they require thought and while interesting, get old, unlike the 10/10 girl gtfihn thread.
AGREED......Even My Shorter Oxford Dictionary...... And My "Mellion's Illustrated Medical Dictionary".... Have No Hope Of Deciphering This Thread............. Cheers Glen.
Unfortunately for you (and apparently Glen as well), I don't base my posting decisions on whether or not they are "welcome". If you don't like the conversation, don't read it. Pretty much common sense, no? Travis
Depends, if the person who doesnt like it, likes arguing, it also makes sense to complain and kick up a fuss.
I'm sorry. The thread title being brah and all, I was just surprised. Your posts are obviously thoughtful and I like to see that anywhere on the internet. I was kidding, mostly. Just giving you a hard time as most of the things on the forum are idiotic jokes and poor attempts at wit, anything different is easy to spot and comment about.
Oh, it's just a little idiosyncrasy of mine. It originated as a way to counteract the "anonymity syndrome" that's so pervasive on the internet these days. People have a tendency to hide behind an online persona as a way to enable them to vent repressed frustration, rage, bitterness, etc. etc. that they would otherwise feel inhibited about expressing in person. When I write my name, it's a reminder to me as well as others that there's an actual living, breathing person sitting behind a computer screen. I initially found that it helped keep petty ego battling in check, both for me and others, but at this point it's more habitual than anything. Travis
Often I feel that there are no energetic influences originating from me. I say often, but really I mean all the time. I'm enveloped in the sense that I'm just floating along on everyone else's currents. Isn't willingly aligning myself to the universe still an admonishment to the concept of free will, although a willing one?
Oh Hai.!!....It Appears That I Had A "Premature Posting" A Few Minutes Ago.. Further Reference To My "Mellions Illustrated Medical Dictionary".........Reveals What Is Really Blatantly Obvious. [quote....."Chronic Masturbater".....adj.verb.noun.wank.radar..... One Who Plays With His "Penis"....And Uses Big Words On R.Ts In The Vain Hope Of Impressing Peeps...quote].. Cheers Glen.
