i liked this short story, can't remember what it was called, i think it was by asimov, but any way this computer is set the task of reversing the expansion of the universe. sent into hyperspace or something. the universe dies, and it figures out how to save it. all it does is says "let there be light". total mind fuck
theres a book called "barefoot in the head" i forget who its by, but its about a war between the arabs & amrerica & europe (sound familiar?) anyway the arabs develop a psychodelic bomb that makes u trip more & more heavily for the rest of your life..afyter the 1st chapter the main charachter gets effected by the bombs & thr book takes on a gibberishness thats still understandable on asubconceise level.. its truly brilliant
