Bonnaroo?

i went to the first 3 and i WILL NOT go to another. i saw too much strife last year; maybe it was the election... anywho, ebay tix are a possibility but IF they sell out sooner rather than later ebay tix will be high. closer to the date they get cheap, but you take the risk of getting ripped or missing the fest due to shipping times. i will be going to 2 or 3 smaller fests for the same money. i usually have more fun when i'm not worried about all the crazies that are attracted to all the fanfare a party that big gets.

 

the only way to get a cheap ticket is to show up without one. so many people back out of going that bonaroo is oveloaded with extras. i got my second roo ticket for a gram and a half of homegrown. you can get in and camp without a ticket too. im sure if you brought $75 with you you can get a ticket easy. maybe as low as $20 or free, but i wouldnt want to be shut out if it was the only show i was going to. show up a day early and hang out at wal mart, thats the best place to get a ticket.
as far as camping, you get to camp at your car so you can bring a big tent, maybe an easy up for shade, some big tarps incase it rains, bring more beer than you need, youll still run out. some easy food, i live off of V8 and fruit juice mainly. bring about 8 gallons of water, more if youre gonna have to share. you can also camp closer to the stages if you hike your gear in. if you want to do that i would just bring a light ten ($15 special) a tarp and a sleeping bag. its nice to have two camps like that in case you meet too many women, just have that little tent out there all empty and waiting, and your main camp at the car.

MTV is not going to be there. That is a rumor that I have heard for the last two bonnaroos and this summers roo. I never saw a mtv camera crew there once last year or the year before. They are not going to be there this year either. If they were going to be there they would be a sponsor and would posted on the partners page of the bonnaroo website.

 

I also have heard that rumor ever since the second roo'. Its BS....go ENJOY THE MUSIC. thats what its about , if the lineup contiunues to grow in the right direction no one will be able to resist.

i will say wakarusa has the lineup beat up to this point (in my opinion) Im waiting for the complete lineup.

 

i think my friend may have an extra ticket.... but that will maybe fall through, i hope not though... after reading all these posts, i really wanna go!
