i highly suggest you make it a priority this year or next.. you wont be disappointed one bit... i never said anything bad about 'Roo.. i just dont wanna be around 100,000+ people

Ive said this in a few roo threads now, but, cops aren't a problem!

i smoked a big ass glass bong, and a few bowls of opium right in front of about 20 state police near the main road in roo. they just looked and passed by.

 

I'm going. It's like 60-80 miles from the area I'm currently living around. I know lots of people that are going.

 

I'll be at some kind of jam also. It's only 25min. from home & at a very chill place!!! Very kind people there

i think i was sober/high when it happened... early afternoon... too early to trip that day.

 

I've tripped in the early afternoon, but I prefer to see the sunset around duskish or late night lack-of-sleep trips.

 

To be honest, the most cops and issues I've seen were wakarusa... but...

yeah but the cops aren't gonna be as thick this year at wakarusa... there were pretty much NO cops in 05 there.

 

tickets at the moment are $130.. thats the camping and music tickets.. you also have to purchase a camping reservation ticket.. but thats only one per vehicle.. those are $35~.. tickets go up one more time to $150 come may or june

 

that was '05.. everyone that i heard about waka had problems with it last year.. not the years before

 

damn thats a good price! i cant wait till '08 so i can get to 10kfl!!!

this years line up is really good.

 

yeah but if you look at the website, one of their top priorities this year is nicer, more respectful security.

 

im going to all good! i like a smaller fest and ive heard the scenery is beautiful up there! and philly folk festival like i do every year to finish the summer up.
