Perspective: (a;ll without camping fees, not all have camping fees)
Telluride Bluegrass: 4-day advance pass $175

High Sierra 4-day early bird $175

    Wakarusa: early bird 4-day $119

Old Settler's: 4-day $110 (includes camping, no non camping price given, but a 3-day no camping pass is $70)

    Mountain Jam: 3-day $99

10K lakes: 4 day music only ticket $100

Wanee fest: 2day not vip, $125 plus ticket bastard fees & charges.

Joshua Tree music fest: 3 day $75 bumping to $90 on 3/15 (May show) Same price for Joshua Tree Roots, it looks like..

Summercamp: 3 day early bird are sold out, so $95 is the current level.

the last tix i bought cost me $80, and the longest line i waited in was about 20 minutes.

my biggest issue with the roo is actually being able to get off work. its hard to get off for it if you actually live in manchester, which sucks because im the only person at my job that even listens to half the bands that show up. the silly kids i work with look at the music on my ipod and are like 'who the hell is that, what is this shit you listen to' yet, they just HAVE to go. makes me irate just thinking about it.

but, if ya have the time and money, id def. suggest you go.

I bought the early bird tickets before the lineup came out, they were 125 before service fees and taxes.

Slightly dumb question but my daughter, who's 18, wants to go. I trust her, but are drugs a problem there? You hear all these things about music festivals and, well, you know.

its for all ages. drugs wont be a problem unless she is into that kind of thing already. otherwise she wont be pressured to take anything. make sure she brings a friend or 3

Drugs are not a problem there at all. She will be able to find any drug she wants so it's all good!

$241.35 each. I can definitley go to 5 festi's for that price. My first is Treehuggers Ball @ Sunshine Daydream on 4-14. There are 2-3 bands that meet the quality of the top13 at the Roo. Price is $40.

Again, I say go to Roo and 5 smaller festi's!

True, but for my time is money. I'm not able to take many weekends off during the summer, so I figured I would go to this 1 and 2 other local festies this summer. Not only will this be a fun festival but kinda my vacation for the year as well.

I hear ya... I was going to fly but I think it will almost be cheaper to just drive but that will take an extra couple days and getting somebody to cover my shifts at work is easier said then done since then done.

my question is why would anyone not want to go to bonnaroo? every person i know who has been says its a life changing expereience and you never want to leave...yeah they might not have all hippy music, but fuck..where else can you go with a ton of other people and trip your ass off on a farm while watching a shit load of bands? i personally love xavier rudd and ben harper and ziggy marley, i think this yr will be amazing. well this is my first yr going but still it will be kick ass.
