Oh yeah... two more things:

Be careful to take care of your feet. Bring several pair of good, comfortable shoes. The mud can be intense. Keep your feet dry. Barefoot would probably help sometimes, but I wouldn't dream of risking it in most areas.

Also, stay well hydrated. You can sweat out a LOT of water quickly. Drink enough water to balance it out, and remember that alcohol adds to the dehydration.

my friends were volunteers and at one point i was talkn to a police officer...they didn't care about most drugs, however there had been ppl supposedly cookn meth and selln crack, thats what they were bustn down on

i had a few friends trippin face, and go ask the police officer if they could pet the horse...they didnt give a damn. "sure go ahead"

i did see one guy lose a sheet tho...but i mean if you are gonna do a transaction be wise...

but no joke how can you go to roo, and not find drugs...did you walk down shakedown at all? you cant walk down that road and not hear a call for drugs every two feet

 

yea that was definitely my experience as well, lotttts and lots of drugs, unfortunatley some bunk ones too

 

mtv has not bought bonnaroo, the police leave you alone once u are inside the gates, its a great time, too many people for my liking, lines, dust, heat ect ect, plus bonnaroo only cares about making those $$$$ I went last year, loved it, but wont be back again, I am going to ALL GOOD, thats where its at rite there!!

 

Bonnaroo 08 was my first time and I've got my tickets for this year. Bonnaroo is also the only festival I've gone to though, so maybe I'm biased.

I watched some kids smoke a joint right in front of a security guard. I'm not gonna lie, I kept looking looking from the guard to the kids and when he didn't do a thing I was pretty impressed.

When they searched my car they asked if I had any drugs. I said yes, I'm on a lot of RXes. Need to see them? To my surprise, they said no. All they did was look in my glove box and my cooler, which was only holding ice at the time.

I traded some pills for some bud at my campsite a few times.. Had no problems finding any myself. Shit just came to me, I never had to go looking for it.

I guess I just had a really lucky Bonnaroo experience? lol. It seems different than what other people are talking about.

and besides, Pearl Jam is sick as fuck....saw them last summer and they were absolutly amazing.

 

i went in 04 and 05 and had a great time. be sure to bring TONS of water, cigarettes, and food...you'll need more than you think and the shit there is expensive as hell. oh, and bring a lot of cash for drugs too.

best food at roo: spaghettios. bring cans of it (quite a few), and get one of those little portable camping stoves. just open the can, set it on the stove, and wait for it to heat up. no bowls required. ...well, cept for those nifty little glass ones. you'll wanna bring one of those too.

 

eh, im jsut gonna have a couple loaves of bread, peanut butter, and a lot of granola bar shits to bring into centeroo. like 2 24 packs of water. and probably 2 cartons of the best of a all ciggarettes, Marlboro Reds...... between 2 people, i think that should be enough.

 

bring another 24 pack of water. it's hot. you drink like 10 of those a day.

 

im goin this year and i cant wait to see phish!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am trying to go this year. I really want to see Phish. It's the only show on the new tour that isn't sold out.

 

I'm gonna be there. bonnaroo 08 was the greatest experience of my life, total freedom, don't believe people who said bonnaroo sold out, trust me you'll enjoy it.

 

Yo I'm so excited about going to Bonnaroo '09! My wife, I and 2 best friends are going with us, all for the first time. We only live a few hours away, East of Knoxville so the drive won't be bad for us. Anyone else leaving from a similar area? I can't wait!

no but you could sneak in, last year some girl told me about how people with property next to the farm would take some money and allow people to sneak into it.
